Posters are making good points and everyone on this board is entitled to an opinion. I don't actually think some of the points are opinions per say. More pointing out that there are questions that still need to be answered and there's no way of knowing how it will play out. I and others I've seen aren't predicting watson will fail. After watching watson last season can anyone actually state that there aren't questions left unanswered?

Some on here said they were no longer Browns fans when we signed him, so those feelings linger. They aren't going away, maybe ever. Definitely a couple of steps below the fanatic threshold. I suspect if we win they will backtrack on all of that. If not, well it just depends. The word fan is short for fanatic. That's a pretty high bar. Supporting the Browns is something I will most likely always do. But the passion has lessened and even if I get to watch Haslam lift the Lombardi trophy it will never be the same as it would have been before.

It's kinda funny how Hopkins basically has little interest from NFL teams. He is linked to the Patriots and loosely linked to the Titans.
If the Browns really wanted him, we could probably get him for 5-7 mill.
If anything, I'm surprised the Ravnes didn't go after him. They have about 10 mill available
Hunter + Dart = This is the way.

It's not dead. He's the Browns starting QB. But much of the story has been rehashed many times. I am not saying it shouldn't or can't. just pointing out why many consider it a dead horse.

I'm can see why many would like for it to be a dead horse and never seen it brought up again, that's for sure. But once you swallow something you're stuck with it until it comes out the other end.

Titans expected to sign WR DeAndre Hopkins to a two-year, $26 million deal DeAndre Hopkins is headed back to the AFC South. The Tennessee Titans are expected to sign the three-time All-Pro wide receiver to a two-year, $26 million contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday. Following his release from the Cardinals at the end of May, Hopkins chose Tennessee as the spot of his first free-agent visit, a meeting that occurred on June 11. Despite later meeting with the Patriots, the Titans proved too good an opportunity. The Hopkins signing is new general manager Ran Carthon's first major get of his tenure in Tennessee, and it goes a long way in filling the void felt last season after the club traded A.J. Brown during the 2022 NFL Draft. Although Hopkins has missed 15 contests the past two seasons due to a six-game suspension and various injuries, he remains a difference maker at 31 years of age. In the 19 games he did play over that span, he collected 106 catches for 1,289 yards and 11 touchdowns, consistently creating separation and making acrobatic contested catches when space didn't exist. Across his 10-year career, he has 853 receptions for 11,298 yards and 71 touchdowns, plus five Pro Bowls. All but one of those Pro Bowl campaigns came with the Texans, the team he will now face twice a year as a rival. He immediately becomes Tennessee's most dangerous wideout upon signing. His presence should also help expedite the development of Treylon Burks, who the Titans drafted to replace Brown in the first round last year. Burks struggled for parts of his rookie season, dealing with limitations from asthma throughout the offseason program and struggling to shine in an oft-stagnant Tennessee offense. He finished the year with 33 receptions for 444 yards and one touchdown in 11 games. With Hopkins in the fold, those two will form the main focal point of the club's passing offense. Who leads that attack under center remains to be seen. Ryan Tannehill is the incumbent starter, but he appears to be a lame-duck quarterback at best heading into his age-35 season with no guaranteed money left on his contract. Last year's third-round pick, Malik Willis, and Will Levis, this year's No. 33 overall selection, will also by vying for the spot. Hopkins should elevate whoever rises to the top, and his arrival also bolsters the Titans' chances of wresting back the AFC South from the Jacksonville Jaguars. https://www.nfl.com/news/titans-expected-to-sign-wr-deandre-hopkins-to-a-two-year-26-million-deal

They needed him more than he needed them. Burks is not their number 2, that probably belongs to NWI, Nicholas Westbrook>Ikina the Titans appear a LOT LESS talented than the Browns, so if coaching didn't matter, the Browns should crush them like a grape. They have about 4 players, but they are good and therefore don't let their better coach beat your team with a team with barely 4 memorable players.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Yet Vrabel has done a lot with the limited talent he's been given. And I can tell you for a fact, since I live just outside of Nashville, that Burks is considered their #2 WR behind Hopkins. He was injured last year but the team is counting on him to fill that role this year. Their D is quite talented and your post indicates you have no idea of their talent level.

their whole deal will be how well Tannehill can manage it. They will be a tough out if he can play average
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Tennessee's passing play rank since 2018 (when Vrabel took over):
2022- 27th 2021- 31st 2020- 30th 2019- 30th 2018- 31st
It will be interesting to see how many incentives Hopkins reaches and wonder if his agent took any of the above into consideration.

When you combine Tannehill and the two youngin's it's not an NFL destination one would think is conducive for a WR to reach his incentives.

Tennessee just seems like a team that is tough enough to stay in every game and squeak into the playoffs, but never talented enough to actually win it all

I think it's a case of Vrabel being able to do a lot with a little. More so on the O side of the ball than anything.

Mike Vrbal's antiquated approach on offense has cost the Titans a Super Bowl appearance . The Titans are kinda like The Guardians in the aspect they play in a weak division. Thru reach the playoffs and their formula fails. Playing the Texans Jags (pre Lawrence) and Colts the Titans We're guaranteed to win 4 division games.

Also...there was a guy in the XFL...Peson or Pearson. I think the browns should look at him as a wildcard at WR. The guy is fast and had good numbers in the XFL. Played in the SEC.
Maybe worth a look.

But then when you negate to point out the Titans FO have given him Ryan Tannehill as his QB and a third round draft pick last year at QB your opinion doesn't read so well.
