helmet or elf for me

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I kinda wish we'd go back to the Browns script font

Seems I'm in the minority here, but, for me, it's anything other than the elf. Maybe if I'd been around when they were good and used it I would feel differently, but there's no nostalgia for me. The only thing I can imagine it evoking in the players is a desire to eat fudge-striped cookies.

I can hear a network giving an opening comment about the Browns vs anyone, if that ELF is the logo on our field...

Announcer's opening welcome...HERE WE ARE ON THE SHORES OF LAKE ERIE, "AT ELF FIELD", AS THE BROWNS TAKE ON THE STEELERS ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL"

Lord, help us out here...please, not the ELF...

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

It is, but what (message) are they trying to sell?

That they care about what the fans think and they want to keep them involved in the decision making. I highly doubt they give an actual damn about what's painted on the field. But if you can keep people believing you actually care about what they think it keeps them feeling like they're more involved and that the owner actually cares about their opinion. I'm not trying to say that's a bad thing per say. From a business standpoint it's actually smart. But it is what it is.

I'd go helmet with the AFC logo and BROWNS in both end zones ... and maybe an orange 32 on the 35 yard lines for this season

I'm probably in the minority, But I think the elf is stupid. But I grew up watching the 80's teams and have always associated the browns with the Dawgs and dawgpound.. I also think you can do alot more marketing with that over a elf..guess it depends on when you started watching the browns. Its almost as dumb as the Guardians...

I kinda think the dawg is too busy or something for the field and merchandise. It's like there are too many lines or something

I think this is a situation where ranked voting would be beneficial. People either love the elf or hate it. Unfortunately, of those that do "hate" it, they don't have a choice that they do love.

If the poll was which design do you absolutely not want, I'm guessing the elf would win that handily.

I was hoping for the helmet ... I guess I'll go with the Brownie again

Voted for the Elf. Brings back memories as a kid when those Elf images were on sideline capes, programs, and also newspaper headlines.

I went with the Helmet. If they don't think enough of the Elf or Dawg to put in on the helmet, then I don't think it belongs on the field.

I've thought that the dog is too busy ... something about it seems off to me

I think the helmet has already been voted out. Seems like that news came out a week or more ago.

Its down to the Dawg and the Elf...

I reallly like the elf. It's just super cool IMO...

But the Dawg was a fan submission and the whole Dawg thing happened due to fans. So I voted for the Dawg because it is a reflection that the fans own that stadium lol

I agree. The dog will win by default

The #Browns are keeping the Elf logo on the middle of their field for the 2023 season, per the team.

I would’ve predicted a 4-13 season had that fan clip art dog been the winner.
