An inkling is enough to know especially while heavy artillery was being refined. I don’t buy your argument. Enough to know what? Some people prefer to base their decisions on what they actually know at the time rather than some imagined future which may never come to be. Not everyone can afford your all encompassing imagination while fighting for their lives and freedom with the arms they thought future citizens should have the right to bear. They had more immediate concerns. An individual can't carry artillery, so I don't think bear arms really applies. Of course you don't buy my argument. I disagreed with you.
