I do think that regardless of which time frame you referenced your point was that with the Biden border policies look how good things are. Maybe they were for some short time frame , but overall, the past three years under Biden policies our border is a disaster.

You know how I know. We have dem governors coming out and saying so. Hochul in NY and Pritzker in Illinois have both said the border is wide open and we need to get it under control. if I were a betting man, which I am not, I would bet that these governors would not be saying this if the illegals were down in Texas or Arizona. Everything would be fine.

But our smart governors started letting these sanctuary communities see what it is like to be overrun by illegals and, voila, we need to control the border. Too bad we had to let millions of illegals into our country to get some politicians to see that an out of control border is not good.

If we could get both political parties to agree that we need to control who comes into our country we could get it done. Sadly some just do not want to make it happen.

I'm all for congress reforming immigration law. Sadly the blame, no matter who is president gets placed on that president. Only congress can write laws to fix the problem. And the border has been a disaster for decades now. One can say it's been more or less of a disaster at different points in time. But using the logic that "It's more of a disaster now than the disaster it was before" I don't see as a talking point.

And yes, when GOP governors specifically only target a hand full of democratic cities to flood with immigrants in order to create a problem, they have certainly manufactured a problem. Here's the funniest part in all of this. Republicans seem to buy into exactly what you said yourself.


I don't know how many cities you have been to but immigrants have large communities in all of them. What republicans seem to be trying to perpetuate is that those immigrants who cross the border stay in Texas and Arizona. They most certainly do not. That is just where they cross the border. They have families and continue on their journey going elsewhere. Those border states are a pit stop for the vast majority of them. Not a destination.

I believe there will be changes in Florida law that will increase what the definition of what being a pedophile means. As I explained, that's exactly what they have done with the "don't say gay bill". It started out as one thing and was expanded form there. But your claim is that could never happen even though we have watched it happen already. As you should totally understand and see from Eve's post, most people who buy into right wing rhetoric have absolutely no idea what the word pedophile even means and people like tat will now think many people who aren't pedophiles at all deserve to die.
