I'm still trying to figure out why he thought he had a chance. The only people that would have voted for him were true blue Republican Conservatives. And since that party is mostly made up of MAGA types, he didn't stand a chance.

Yeah, sure, that is not going to happen. I think that the images of gallows at the Capitol on Jan 6 would be pretty embedded in his memory. Well, for what it's worth, I don't think his endorsement would help trump. I don't think Pence has any clout left. At least not enough to make a difference.
