For my money the funniest show of all time is "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
There have been episodes where I had tears running down my checks from laughing.
I was just watching a taped rerun. One of the members from Larry's golf country club commits suicide. Larry surmises that he did it because of the Jets. They just loose all the time and then they passed on drafting Deshaun Watson.
It is rumored that the wife of the guy who committed suicide has a magical vagina. So, Larry, Richard Lewis, and Larry's agent determine that under normal circumstances you can't hit on a widow for one year. However, because of her magical vagina it creates an exception so six months will work.
Larry and his buddies attend the funeral. Larry gets a thank you text from the woman and she would like to see his new coffee shop.
He meets her for lunch at this place where Larry believes they have a section for ugly people and another for good looking people. He always gets seated in the ugly section.
The stuff that Larry David comes up with is priceless. Whenever I need a good laugh I go back to Curb. It never fails to crack me up.

Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld created "Seinfeld."
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" has been on HBO for over ten years.
In some ways it is like Seinfeld censored except the situations are way more outrageous.
It is a very popular show that is watched and discussed by many.
If you like Seinfeld. You would probably like Curb.

I never watched it until a buddy of mine got me into it last winter. we’d binge-watch it. Larry David isn’t that funny on his own, not to me, but his interactions with Susie were mostly my favourite moments. The Doll episode, I found hysterical.

Larry is Larry. It is the situations and interactions that are funny.
He violates all social morals.
Fixes a blind guy up with a woman in a burka.
Gets a pubic hair stuck in his throat.
Steals a 3 wood out of a coffin.
Picks up a hooker so he can use the HOV lane.
Gets in arguments over all kinds of things.
The situations are what is really funny.

I used to LOVE the show. The past few seasons were "meh" to me, so I kinda stopped watching.
But, it's still brilliant stuff

Humor is like Art, the paintings not the singer, and it is always nice to have another piece of art to observe appreciate and then enjoy, and like style in clothes not everybody enjoys the same.
Like this one movie, from a few years ago, watch it once, it's funny, watched it another time, and figured out 3 or 4 other people were allegedly in relationships with each other, which created jealousys' that I had not known about, Which explained why people were mad, it basically was like watching another whole movie altogether, and funny in a different way.
When the humor kind of unfolds in layers, like an episode of "three's company" it can be taken in in layers, and farce is dumb for being farce but it's also hilarious when you don't see it coming. Kind of like bugs bunny and Yosemite sam riding trains, you know he's gonna get it, but you don't know how.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I love Seinfeld, really like Curb.
I've seen every episode of Seinfeld at least a half-dozen times - probably way more - and every episode of Curb at least twice.
George Costanza's character on Seinfeld is based on Larry David, me thinks.

It reminds me when George described he said the Gym teacher didn't like him and would call him "Can't>Stands>Ya" in taking attendance.

I never could get into Seinfeld. Tried, but couldn’t. Never understood why people thought Kramer was funny, and none of the characters were likeable as people.

If you like Seinfeld. You would probably like Curb. That sums it up for me, Seinfeld pretty much sucked IMO. I don't think I have ever watched a complete episode and only bits of 4-5. That is the deal with comedy, either you like it or you don't. Sometimes it is the material, sometimes it is the delivery. There is no right or wrong. It simply is what it is.

I never could get into Seinfeld. Tried, but couldn’t. Never understood why people thought Kramer was funny, and none of the characters were likeable as people. I don't think they were meant to be likeable. For the most part, they all lacked compassion and empathy for fellow human beings outside of their own little group. I thought the show was really funny, and still watch the reruns.

I always looked at their jokes and humor as just above slapstick comedy in the comedy hierarchy, situational slapstick, is what I’d call it. They were the “three stooges” of their time.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Seinfeld was a smart, witty show and is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time (even if I’m not a fan).

Comedy is kind of like music or art.
You find what you like.
Curb is not everyones cup of tea. Those that do like it. Love the show. It is so irreverent to all forms of social mores. Nothing is off limits.
The situations that arise in Curb and the way Larry's character deals with them; I find it hysterical.
Curb is often a topic brought up as a reference from other forms of entertainment.
It has been an enormous success.
