do we punish only the ones that got "caught" when we know for a fact there were way more that havent been caught than were??? ..

Yes, you punish the ones that got caught. Are there football players at every university cheating on tests and term papers? Yea, probably... but you punish Florida State because they got caught.

bottom Line .. ALL THE PLAYERS are to blame .. cause theirs guys on every team that KNEW/KNOW who were using .. but they wanna keep their mouths shut .. so be it ...

Actually I think major league baseball is more to blame than anybody for such a slack policy, no enforcement, not standing up to the union, etc...

plus how do we merit out punishment .. lets face it what Bonds and Mac did was way worse than what Pettite did if everything we know is true ..

Well if you put it that way, what they all did is way worse than what Pete Rose did.. these guys were actually cheating to affect performance on the field and influence the outcome of games and seasons... while, based on all we know, Pete Rose never once did anything illegal to affect the outcome of a game...

The ones that need punishing is The LEAGUE itself. They've known about it, they've permitted it and have even probably encouraged it.

It'll never happen, but I'd love to see the owners forced to reimburse ticket costs and TV revenue for defrauding us.

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

The thing with baseball is there really isn't one encompassing "league". It's the owner's commissioner against the player's commissioner if you really look at it, and both are equally as strong in most ways. And they are both equally to blame in my eyes.

Some of you have it in so bad for the Red Sox and Schilling that you can't see straight. It's ok with me but this issue is universal. I say, Clemens and Schilling should duel it out at sunrise and sell the TV rights to FOX.

I've heard they're going to do that the day after they institute a salary cap.

I couldn't really care less about Schilling or the Red Sox. I'm just curious how far deep into the rabit hole he thinks this should go and if he would draw the line at giving back his rings. That, to me, is pretty hypocritical.

But I do like the duel idea. In fact, make it a 3-way duel and throw in Bonds. It would be like that final scene from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
