I'm a guy who wants Truth, Fiscal Responsibility, and Social Compassion. We don't get much of that in our nations capital or state governments- win at all cost.

I'll show a Republican spinless, unprincipled, switch for power- I'm picking on a woman- a NOT RINO- a 25 yr House of Reps TX- Kay Granger. I'll highlight just a few of her statements about Trump- please google and read - Texas Congresswoman to Trump: Have You No Decency?

Some highlights from her statement in Congress- she was complaining about Trump calling Sen McCain not a hero- highlights- Trump registered Democrat, pro-abortion then switch to pro-life, for legal weed, then against weed, calls Mexicans entering US criminals and rapists-lastly "Trump’s disparaging statements about John McCain and cruel statements about Mexico clearly show that he is not the one to represent our country on the world stage." 2015

She and Trump endorsed each other for the 2020 election- How'd the proud Texan changer her mind on Trump- had he changed into a better man, politician, leader- not he hadn't been civilly convicted of rape, been judged guilty of fraud in NY, and indited for election crimes--- Politicians lie constantly. Give other examples.

Give other examples… EVERYTHING TRUMP HAS SAID OR DONE SINCE LOSING THE 2020 ELECTION… All of it lies to stay in or regain power.

Amen- isn't it tragic all these so called principled men and women do almost anything to stay in power--at least Cheney stood up as a real Republican and tried to stear her party in right direction. Anyone but Trump and Biden.

Her dad is a POS, but Liz is alright in my book for her actions to protect democracy from Trump. I would never put her in the White House as my primary choice, but much better her than any MAGAt. There are a number of Republicans that left over the last 7 years due to MAGA that I would welcome back in congress. But I honestly think the Republican party is dead and no longer exists. I hope something less fascist than the Trump sycophants. They hold offices not only in DC but across the nation at every level of leadership. These Trump loyalists all need to be replaced.

Whose advocating for death??? Quite an overreach there. Trump has been President once and he did not ill will toward any of the folks you mentioned. Most minorities actually prospered under Trump's leadership. Sure, he is brash and uses language beneath the office. Conservatives believe all men are created equal and all should be treated the same. We're not for special rights for some because we don't believe in victimhood. You get what you earn. Robinhood does not belong in a free country but keep taking our rights away and when we are made to be peasants from the elites in a socialist society Robinhood may be needed then.

Day of....a response is just to easy--- you need to do some basic google searches- Trump over and over advocates violence on all folks I listed- book after book from "the best people" who worked for him state he shouldn't ever be allowed to be President again- he's supports white nationalists, advocated "HANG MIKE PENCE" his VP, wanted to us military against citizens- plainly, Trump is a want a be dictator- like his buddy Putin.
Lastly, JMHO, you highlight Romans 10:9- which is only part of Jesus's message- and it is false reading it by itself, cherry picking- Jesus stated the whole real way to get eternal life with God- Love God....., love your neighbor as yourself. Your last statements about Robinhood- did or did not Jesus say- feed the hungry, cloth the naked.....but, not "border crossers"......did Jesus cross borders- Egypt maybe.

JMHO, FACTS- the Republican Party embraces as their leader who has never ACTED as a President- on record he's switched political sides numerous times, been married three times, belittled/demeaned women countless times- grab them by the ...., get away with it, advocated to shoot protesters, supports white supremists, states "sleepy Joe is incompetent", yet publicly stated- George Washington kept airports safe, wanted to nuke hurricanes, wanted to inject bleach into body to get rid of covid, trust me- Mexico will pay for the wall, the wall is finished almost, on and on and on- the GREAT businessman commited fraud in NY over and over again- question- would you trust the sq ft of any real estate from this guy-- lastly, and one of his greatest deals- con money out of average American citizen to pay for his legal bills- the "billionaire" at his best. Check what his guys and gals say about him now- Pence, Barr, Milley, Mattis, Epsy, Tillerson, Haley, Christie- on and on- his appointees must not be Republican enough.

You do realize there are 613 laws in the Bible, and I am sure you obey every one of them. Then Jesus comes along as says if you hate someone it is the same as murder to him. If you lust in your heart, it is the same as committing adultery to him. I am sure though that you are so good that you have these all covered. Me I am flawed. I strive for perfection but fall short. That is why I know I need a Savior.

What I also know is what the Bible says is right and wrong because I read all 613 laws. Living willfully contrary to those laws means you follow a different God. Willfully supporting this anti Jew and anti-Christian move of the world (globalists) makes a person a supporter of the anti-Christ. Jesus says in the Bible in the end times what is wrong will be seen as right and what is right will be seen as wrong. He also says there will be great deception in those days and if not for his elect all would be deceived. Meaning those that read and believe every Word of the Bible as truth will not be deceived. So, I am glad to see you read the Bible.

Couldn't you take your last paragraph and also apply that to those who support Trump for the reasons hitt stated. I would actually think that paradigm to be more applicable, honestly.

Look, I'm all for calling choosing between Trump and Biden "picking one's poison" but to pretend there are hard and fast facts that supporting Biden vs Trump is supporting the anti-Christ seems like quite the false prophecy that I see run rampant among the fundamentalist Christian right.

I'll be the first to say there's a lot of ish that I don't know. Way more that I dont' know than I know. But, I think what we should strive for is a Cartesian method of starting with basic facts and then branching off of that with logic. I think the downfall of society is that people start at the end and then try to find via social media/the web/demagogic speech/whatever any sort of justification that makes them feel better about whatever their perceived reality is.

God turned Israel over to Babylon for 70 years because of their worship of Baal, their sexual sin, their sacrificing of children. Sounds like things happening today that you support. I’ll never get how some 2000 year old words written by MEN barely more capable than cavemen are used to lead millions in making modern life choices. I don't hate the Palestinian citizens. Israel is not killing them they are liberating them. It is war and unfortunately death to innocent civilians will occur. Hamas has oppressed the Palestinian citizens for years and created many strongholds that won't be easily defeated. Just like we bombed Iran and Afghanistan for weeks before sending in ground troops so will Israel have to do the same thing. The antisemitic world hates God and in turn hates the Jews that is why colleges, The United Nations, and many news outlets promote the rhetoric they promote. There is a story on a news feed this morning that a Palestinian woman is cheering Israel on because she said that Hamas has taken their money, taken their food, etc... Those that oppose Israel want Jewish extinction and radical Islam in power.

As far as the Old Testament it is relevant, it points to a coming Messiah. The problem with not knowing the Old Testament is if God does not keep his promises to Israel thru the old covenant, then as the modern-day church, we cannot trust a God to keep his promises with the new covenant. I believe every promise he made with Israel is true and every promise he made to the church is true.

You questioned my Christianity because you used a few scriptures to justify your belief. That is the only reason I whipped it out so to speak. I do believe every word of the Bible to be true. I in turn have a view of politics and the world thru that biblical view.

More excuses as to why Israel are using the methods to kill the most Palestinian civilians possible may work for you, but it doesn't work for a lot of people. The new testament are the books that speak of the resurrections ad the return of Christ. I find it odd that the Old testament pointed to the coming Messiah yet the very religion the Old testament was written for doesn't believe he ever returned.

I don't question Christianity. I question the religions that bastardized the teaching of it. And yeah, you keep whipping it out in public. There is separation of church and state in this nation. there are reasons for that and you are a prime example of it.

I know it bothers you that people like UNICEF, the U.N. and other organizations are telling the truth about what's going on in Gaza. Telling the truth doesn't mean you hate anyone. But that's the only excuse people like yourself can come up with to try to minimize those facts.

Show me a politician that ISN'T lying to retain power and I'll show you someone that decided to not run for re-election.

Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. But I think you're right in that they aren't running for re-election. However I think the fact they refused to lie is why they aren't running for re-election. I also felt they knew when they decided to tell the truth they were sacrificing their political futures. I admire that and it's sad that we don't see more politicians willing to put honesty ahead of politics.

I will say that I've seen perhaps a handful of reps that to my knowledge are not liars - at least not to a notable level (odd caveat, I know), but you will almost never see them in the news.

I don't doubt that. I don't think they're all dishonest. I will say that by and large I think most of them have to conform what they're saying to fall in line with the total party platform to get the party endorsement. I think if you really break it down most voters don't agree with everything on either parties stated platform. But if a politicians wants their endorsement, they have to at least pretend that they do.

I'd add to that sentiment- remember the old adage- if you see a lawyer's lips move you know he/she are lying. It says something about our Congress- how many are lawyers. I know every defendant deserves a fair trial- I, personally, couldn't defend a person who I know is guilty and work the set he or she free. I couldn't do it.

Israel is liberating them- I must have missed something- their stated objective is to destroy Hamas- liberate wasn't mentioned.

He said, when Congress asks you to come testify, you are supposed to come testifying. As someone who served on the committee who issued a subpoena to Jim Jordan, which he defied, what are people supposed to take from this?” Bolduan asked.
