I'm actually surprised to see that Brandon Staley still has a job this morning.

what an embarrassment that the Chargers were last night
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If BB gets fired in New England The Chargers are the perfect team for him. A lot of talent and especially a top QB. Nice weather too!!!

Starting to think Flores is trash.
All the stuff coming out about the Dolphins and that 3rd and 21 defensive alignment where the Bengals got a first down was the definition of stupid.

This Mullins guy on Minnesota is making one stupid decision after another, but his receivers keep bailing him out. He's throwing across his body into double and triple coverages. It's quite entertaining, especially since he's doing it against the bungles. He has thrown two pics and had a pic 6 called back.

I can’t believe he threw that last touchdown.
Flores craps the bed on playcalling again on the next Bengals drive. Pathetic calls.

Josh Dobbs demoted to 3rd string. I guess that ends that argument.

Bengals won the OT toss. With Flores’ calls, I fully expect a TD on this drive.

Man, he actually called a good D on that first OT drive and then couldn’t help himself.
That blitz drop back was repeatedly failing and he couldn’t keep himself from sticking with it.
When he did a base down 4 man rush the Bengals were 3 and out.

First losing season for Pittsburgh in 20 years?
I actually would prefer they win this game. But if they start to have cracks in their foundation I won’t complain.

The steelers message boards are a hoot right now. Someone posted this when they were talking about putting Rudolph in.
Rudolph, the 3rd string QB Can only really make deep throws Some people think he's decent, But the truth is really that he blows
Many drunken Yinzers Used to laugh and call him names Don't want to see poor Rudolph Play in any Steelers games
Then one sad December night Tomlin came to say: "Rudolph we are screwed so right, its time to let you play tonight"
Then all the Yinzers cheered him sent Mitch to the bench with glee Rudolph leads the offense Throws a hundred eighty-three

Steelers have Cincinatti, Seattle, and Baltimore left.
With the way they're playing I could easily see them go 0-3, I have a feeling tomlin is still going to end up dragging them to 9-8 though..

Steelers have absolutely no chance anymore this season. Three just horrible games that they needed to win. There needs to be some serious changes in the off-season. There is talent on the team, but something is very wrong.

I think a lot of Steeler fans that I know took Big Ben for granted ... us as Browns fans have gone decades without a FQB and looked on with envy. What you are experiencing the past two seasons is what happens when you don't have a good QB: margins for error are smaller, everyone turns on each other, winnable games slip away, etc

With the way they're playing I could easily see them go 0-3, I have a feeling tomlin is still going to end up dragging them to 9-8 though.. The Rules are $^#^"ED messed UP. HOW DO YOU MIss the Playoffs with the same RECORD, TO A TEAM YOU BEAT HEAD TO HEAD???? B/c of the AFC North, it can happen, If there is a five way tie at ten and seven between the Pitt, Cincy, Cleveland, Indy, and Denver, assuming KC and Jax win their div. and if you even take Buffalo and Houston out of the mix, the wild card teams would be Pitt Indy and Denver, B/c Pitt would be 2nd place in the afc north, with a five and one div record , best Cleveland can do is 4 and 2, best cincy can do is 3 and 3 or it doesn't matter with their conf. record... But, in that case, B/C it would still be a 3 way tie at ten and seven every time the filled the next wild card spot, and between clubs from different divisions then Cincy and Cleveland would be removed from consideration to Indianapolis, EVEN THOUGH THEY BOTH BEAT INDY, and the very next tie breaker would be to remove Indy for that very reason, but before they get there, they'd remove both Cincy and Cleveland , and why? B/c Indy would be in 2nd place in the AFC south, compared to Cincy and Cleveland being in 3rd or 4th place in the AFC North Nightmare, but very real possibility, and AND, Knowing this ^, Baltimore, can Choose to Lose against Pitt in the Final game to allow a lesser team Pitt, In, to be their opponent, and kick Cleveland and Cincy out. Not entirely impossible, you have to win Eleven to make the Playoffs You have to Win Eleven or sit at home and wonder what happened on how you beat Indy, and Jax, and they could both be in the playoffs at Ten and seven, And you are not but you are also Ten and seven. The RULEs ARE sO Messed UP, YOU CAN ONLY GET IN IF YOU REMAIN 2ND OR BETTER IN THE AFC NORTH. or have a half game lead in the record against EVERYBODY else simply the AFC north teams are being discriminated against b/c they don't have two bottom feeder teams in their div. like the afc east, afc west and afc south do. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-tie-breaking-procedures/

I love Pickett and think the Steelers should sign him to a lifetime contract.
I’ve thought for years that Tomlin rode Ben’s coat tails. Everyone gushed over his ‘winning culture’, his ‘stiller way’, his general genius… Its easy to look good with a great QB. Even with a great QB and a great D Tomlin only got one Super Bowl. In my mind that was highly underachieving. I love watching it all crumble. Sign Tomlin to an extension. He’s what I thought he was.

According to playoffstatus or picture and status .com no AFC team has even a wild card spot locked up. well b/c of the afc north, how could the current number one afc seed I0 and 3 Ravens miss the playoffs altogether, simple, in the AFC North, to break the ties, if they lose out, and Pitt wins out, and and if there is an eight or nine or ten way tie in the AFC at Ten and seven, If the AFC all finish at ten and seven Pitt would have a five and one div record Cleveland would have a 4 and 2 or 3 and 3, div record depending on week eighteen, Cincy would have no better than a 2 and 4 div record b/c they lost to Cleveland, Pitt, and twice to Baltimore already, but If Cleveland wins Eleven and Baltimore and Pitt and Cincy are tied with a ton of others at ten and seven, then Pitt, yeah the suck sorry Pitt team would be in 2nd place in the afc North because of a five and one div record, and Balt. would be removed from consideration of all wild card spots for being in 3rd or 4th place of the AFC North, as long as, when they go to fill that next wild card spot there are still 3 or more teams tied in record from different divisions If there were a twelve way tie at Ten and seven among teams in the afc, before they even look at head to head or any other record, they remove all but only those teams closest to first place, in their OWN respective divisions. They would only look at the teams in 2nd place, or better, in their own AFC North, AFC south, AFC West, or AFC East divisions respectively. If you win, Eleven, you can probably get by that, but, today is probably Another playoff game. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-tie-breaking-procedures/

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Amen, it isn't nice, darn, I love the Steelers in LAST PLACE- SWEET. And, they are hurting at QB-----lots of bitching from their players- the vaulted Steeler way- if they have a losing record for the year, that would be the cherry. GO BROWNS!!!!

Gotta give it to Baker Mayfield. He’s absolutely balling in Tampa Bay, and that’s a great thing to see.

Buffalo is scary. They're going to be a dangerous team in the playoffs
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Are they going to let ten afc teams into the playoffs? Who is out?
...
Baker Mayfield had a perfect One hundred fifty eight+ passer rating, 4 touchdowns Three hundred eighty one yards and only 6 incompletions in what is being labeled a career day, <whatever. for T bay on the road at Green Bay today. and they won 34 to 20 , only seven and seven on the year but lead their div. in the NFC
Oh well, his days may not be as numbered as many would hope. These grapes are sour.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If Jax can beat the Rats tonight, we would be 1 game out of the AFC North lead.

Buffalo has to make the playoffs before they can be dangerous in the playoffs.
Right now they are 10th in the AFC playoff picture, 1 game ahead of Pittsburgh. .

Yeah, I think Buffalo should get in now. They'll never lose to the Chargers minus Herbert or Pats at home.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say:
1. Baltimore 2. Miami 3. Kansas City 4. Jacksonville 5. Cleveland 6. Buffalo 7. Houston

The Jags have such a strange, explosive offense. They did the same against us .. hibernate for stretches and then wake up

reading the tea leaves, the 5 seed seems most likely ... and we would face whoever wins the AFCS race (Jags, Colts, or Texans)
we could do worse than that scenario IMO

Steelers have absolutely no chance anymore this season. Three just horrible games that they needed to win. There needs to be some serious changes in the off-season. There is talent on the team, but something is very wrong. I think a lot of Steeler fans that I know took Big Ben for granted ... us as Browns fans have gone decades without a FQB and looked on with envy. What you are experiencing the past two seasons is what happens when you don't have a good QB: margins for error are smaller, everyone turns on each other, winnable games slip away, etc Big Ben, but also Tomlin. I thought that guy was a joke when he took over with that deer-in-headlights look he had/has during press conferences. Looking back, he's a prototypical field-general type coach.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Yep. It will all be ugly from here on out, unless we somehow get healthier. I think we need one or two more wins to secure that wild card spot. After that, I don’t care if we play scrubs until the playoff games start.

Gotta give it to Baker Mayfield. He’s absolutely balling in Tampa Bay, and that’s a great thing to see. I was just wondering the other day why Swish doesn't post as much as he used to Miss your inputs , always enjoyed your thoughts on things This post makes me think, you are a Baker and Buccuneer s fan and follow them more One thing is the division, I know you want Baker to be succesful. But Baker doesn't have the Browns in the 5th spot in the AFC Play Offs spot 'm rooting for the Browns, not Baker Players come and go, But remember 1997 So I don't care about what Bker is doing I'm enjoying what Flacco and the Browns team is doing

I SO want that. And while we’re talking about Baker, I bet the panther fans are salty this year.

Seattle is a different animal at home, as we saw. Philly just doesn't look the same. Still good, but not dominant.

'm rooting for the Browns, not Baker
Players come and go, But remember 1997
So I don't care about what Bker is doing
I'm enjoying what Flacco and the Browns team is doing Some people are strictly Browns fans while some are fans of the sport and the NFL. To each their own. I follow the sport.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

In all fairness, I never mentioned not being allowed to root for Baker any other player or team I simply said that I'm more into rooting for the Browns than I am Baker The Browns are in a Wildcard spot as you know And that has me along with most if not all Browns fans really excited So I'm not interested in what Baker is doing..Honest truth, I didn't say no one else can root or be excited for him I simply said I'm enjoying what Flacco and the Browns are doing with a very injured team Actually I don't see any insults to Swish or any other poster excited for Baker in the post I made I like Swish always have, I even said I miss his inputs and posts The post I made may have been taken in the wrong way I'm just more excited about the Browns right now then I am the Bucs I root for other teams and players also The lions for one But as of now the Browns are at the top of the list

Ok, I guess I did take that the wrong way. My bad.
I always wanted to root hard for Baker because I never really liked the parallels to Manziel. Nowadays, I'm more curious about how he's doing (and the why's behind it).

Seattle is a different animal at home, as we saw. Philly just doesn't look the same. Still good, but not dominant. Philly had been winning with smoke and mirrors all season; it was bound to reverse at some point. I know you don't apologize for wins in the NFL, but they won some early games they really shouldn't have. Their coach is a little cocky as is their team. I'm good with it.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
