Tomlin still has a chance to avoid a losing season.

That would be pretty amazing if he can pull it off this year.

I saw that, too....lol. Clearly they still hate us. And, did I miss them discussing us? It said "coming up at the half" didn't it?

AFC north continues to be highly entertaining...

Might be a division where all teams have winning records. Which would be interesting.

Though for cinci to do so they'll have to win one out of their next 2 and their next 2 are KC and The Browns...

Well both the bengals and Steelers are out of playoffs so that’s a good thing, hopefully by the time we get to cinci it won’t matter and we can rest everyone

They each have like 14% chance so not technically out of it. We need to beat the Texans and not have to worry about anything else.

It really is tough to say because, if Pitt wins the final 2,
at seattle, and at Baltimore, which won't have any reason to try, then, Pitt would end ten and seven and Five and One in the div. frown which is better than 4 and 2 in the div. which is the best div. record Cleveland can finish with, even if they win at Cincinnati.
Best case would have been for Cincy to beat Pitt and then lose next week at K.C.
I think.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Weirdly, I think it makes it less likely that we clinch this weekend but more likely overall that we make playoffs. That is if I understood the clinching scenarios correctly.

but for us to have the same record that is the best record that pittsburgh could end with-we would need to lose 2 of the next 3.

This is the only scenario for us to clinch a spot this week with a pitts win. there was 7 ways to clinch with a pitts loss.

Cleveland win + Cincinnati loss + Denver loss or tie + Buffalo loss + Miami win or tie + Indianapolis loss or tie

I haven't looked at the schedule for a while - but I have a hunch that I am rooting for the Bills to win out so that they make Miami have a reason to play the Ravens hard when they meet. I don't want Miami to have wrapped up home field advantage by the time Ravens v Miami comes around.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Both the Steelers and Bills winning was a bad outcome for the Browns.

Makes the Texans game almost a must win.

Browns have very little margin for error.

Denver is out

IMO, the playoffs will be:

Baltimore
Kansas City
Miami
Jacksonville
Cleveland
Buffalo
Indianapolis/Houston (they play week 18, so the winner take all)

Not a team we can’t beat in the AFC, never mind the league.

Watching KC is an eye opener.

Their offense is a two trick pony. No big deal at all. The Dolphins are way more of a threat.

Tonight will really make clear who the Ravens are. If they get whipped by the Niners. It is game on for the division.

The Dolphins offense is good. They are tough for any defense because of how quickly they get the ball out. The Dolphin passing attack is very sophisticated.

If we were to win the North. Man it is wide open.

Gipson trying to give Bal the game. SF linebackers are good. Holding Baltimore to 3, going to choke down to who gets the running game going the best imo

Baltimore is a lot better than SF. Most complete team in nfl. Sucks for us getting the division . SF looks like when we played

And ANOTHER interception for Purdy

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Baltimore most dangerous team going into playoffs. They are rolling

30-12 Baltimore ... our division hopes are hanging by a thread

The forty niners aren't that good,
They wouldn't win 3 games in the AFC North if you gave them
2 yearsss and a whole group of healthy.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Man I thought the Balt had twelve men on D that play, I think they need to go back and re count and throw a flag.

Browns have secured over the Bengals, and Broncos,
and can finish no worse than Ninth in the AFC, but ninth isn't a playoff spot.

But if the Browns lose out they may have to watch Pitt. take their playoff spot and then fall by rule behind any of the 3 AfC south teams that the Browns beat head to head.

I would have agreed last week but with both our kickers down or out I'm not sure.

3 of the niners 4 losses are from the AFC North.

We don't need no stinking help.

If the hand we are dealt is the 5th seed. So be it. Maybe it is a good thing to face the South winner given we already beat every team in that division.

We beat the Ravens in their house with DW hurting.

If we go back there with Iceman Joe and beat them there again. Oh how sweet that will be.

The Browns have been iron hardened through adversity. 1-0 All The Way.

Agreed. SF did us no favors last night unfortunately but we are still in control of ourselves. All I know is SF lost 3 of 4 games to the AFC north. We split with Baltimore even with all our injuries. We can and have played toe to toe with anybody. Some of our injured players may come back. Either way we at least have given us a chance. We’ve got to beat the Jets on Thursday.
