Tomlin still has a chance to avoid a losing season.

That would be pretty amazing if he can pull it off this year.

Headline going into half literally said “Browns face shorthanded Texans”. Are they serious

I saw that, too....lol. Clearly they still hate us. And, did I miss them discussing us? It said "coming up at the half" didn't it?

Bengals fans wishing Myles Garrett would show up and hit Mason Rudolph with his helmet.

AFC north continues to be highly entertaining...

Might be a division where all teams have winning records. Which would be interesting.

Though for cinci to do so they'll have to win one out of their next 2 and their next 2 are KC and The Browns...

Well both the bengals and Steelers are out of playoffs so that’s a good thing, hopefully by the time we get to cinci it won’t matter and we can rest everyone

They each have like 14% chance so not technically out of it. We need to beat the Texans and not have to worry about anything else.

It really is tough to say because, if Pitt wins the final 2,
at seattle, and at Baltimore, which won't have any reason to try, then, Pitt would end ten and seven and Five and One in the div. frown which is better than 4 and 2 in the div. which is the best div. record Cleveland can finish with, even if they win at Cincinnati.
Best case would have been for Cincy to beat Pitt and then lose next week at K.C.
I think.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Weirdly, I think it makes it less likely that we clinch this weekend but more likely overall that we make playoffs. That is if I understood the clinching scenarios correctly.

but for us to have the same record that is the best record that pittsburgh could end with-we would need to lose 2 of the next 3.

This is the only scenario for us to clinch a spot this week with a pitts win. there was 7 ways to clinch with a pitts loss.

Cleveland win + Cincinnati loss + Denver loss or tie + Buffalo loss + Miami win or tie + Indianapolis loss or tie

I was actually hoping for the Chargers but that looks to be out the window.

I haven't looked at the schedule for a while - but I have a hunch that I am rooting for the Bills to win out so that they make Miami have a reason to play the Ravens hard when they meet. I don't want Miami to have wrapped up home field advantage by the time Ravens v Miami comes around.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Both the Steelers and Bills winning was a bad outcome for the Browns.

Makes the Texans game almost a must win.

Browns have very little margin for error.

Agreed. We're not getting any help from anyone. We have to take care of business ourselves if we make the playoffs.

I agree.

Let's not relive a 2007 Jim Sorgi nightmare again, I hate depending on other teams.

I believe if we keep the 5 seed Jax will be our game, which bodes well for us winning a playoff game, then we would play BAL

Denver is out

IMO, the playoffs will be:

Baltimore
Kansas City
Miami
Jacksonville
Cleveland
Buffalo
Indianapolis/Houston (they play week 18, so the winner take all)

KC seems to be more of a running team now than ever. Pacheco is their engine on O
