I’m nervous. But I’m ALWAYS nervous so I don’t count. This Texans team is different than the one we played. I am officially worried about how we contain CJ both in the air and on the ground.

Stoolers are in and they have a spark they haven’t had all year with that moron Rudolf. Those godless bastages scare me right now. You can NEVER count out Tomlin.

The rats never lose. I know we beat them this year but that dude is playing at a level he’s never been at before. I know his post season record blows but this year seems different.

What do you all think?

I would have rather played the Jags than the Texans. The Texans are healthy now and Stroud is playing well. That being said if we play like we've been playing we can beat anyone. We didn't get any help from anyone we did it ourselves and we will have to continue that. I wanted the Jags to win because I feel they're not as good as the Texans and it would have knocked Pitt. out. They're mediocre at best and still find a way to get in just about every year. Ridiculous!

Would rather have faced the jags. Going to be a tough game.... But it's the playoffs. No easy games really and it's great we're there and we'll have every chance

I'm just glad we don't have to play the steelers in the 1st round again this year...out last 3 playoff trips (1994, 2002, 2020) all played them, at their place. Texans are going to be tough, but if the playoffs were easy then everyone would be in. I do feel with all of the injuries we've had this year that we've punched above our weight, so I won't be too upset if we get bounced in the 1st round. I just don't want it to be a heartbreaker, last minute play, or some crazy penalty that costs us.

Same as it ever was. . . . I am concerned about everyone who lines up over us. Playoffs are still the same as we have had before: The Land against the World! Unleash The Elf, play harder, and win your game. It just got real; we have no room for noise and distractions.

If I was an outsider looking in as a non fan of either team I would like the Browns having the verteran QB who has been there before.

With that said, Stroud scares the hell out of me. I'm pretty worried about this game.

Bill Belicheck always made life miserable for young and rookie QB's. Maybe JS can take a page from his book and do the same against Stroud. JS has been around a long time and knows a lot about D so I'm sure he'll figure something out.

Defense is going to have to dial it up and play lights out for any and all playoffs games and that starts with a very hot Houston O. I will say, if we manage to contain and beat Stroud it bodes well for us against Baltimore. I really think this is just about a 50/50 game.

I want to win desperately but truth be told, I’m expecting nothing from here on out. We’ve been waiting for the veritable “other shoe” to drop for a while now and it just… hasn’t. We’ve been operating on fairy dust, glue stick and chewing gum for 1/2 a season. I love this team. Maybe the magic holds? We shall see.

One game at a time no matter who we play.

It is all about playing our game. Our focus is to play the best we can play.

We have a team that can beat any team if we play to our ability.

Stroud is good no doubt about it. I’m not that worried about the Texans because our pass defense is elite. Our run defense is suspect so I’m glad Indy blew that game. We were able to pass at Will against the Texans. My only concern on offense was the fact we could only rush for 54 yards on something like 30 carries.

Houston is the worst possible matchup we could have had that was available. Hopefully we will get guys back because Texans are a totally different team with him. The lat game mean nothing when looking at potential outcome for this game. This is a mother reason the seeding is stupid . We have a better record yet they get the home game

Looking forward to watching the Browns tap dance all over the Texans.

Without Tank Dell, Nico Collins is their lone receiving threat (Schultz, meh). A well rested Ward can shut Collins down. D-Line can slow down Singletary.

Browns pass defense only giving up 5.9yds/att, a league best. Texans allowing 7.7yds/att, bottom five in the NFL.

Really like this match-up for the Browns. Not a good match-up for the Texans.

I expect the Browns to open up as a road favorite.

I can't believe the worry warts here. Do you think Myles and co. are worried about facing a rookie qb? Flacco threw for 368yds and 3 TD's against the Texans D. Have a little faith.

Tell the pilot to turn the frequency to Jim Donovan's radio call of the game and play through the cabin speakers!

Of course, Peacock.
Guess I’ll be forced to buy another platform. I’ll cancel the moment the game is over. Screw the NFL and its money grubbing ways.

Did more research. Seems like we dodged the Peacock paywall. Doesn’t mean everyone will be able to watch though. Plan accordingly.

https://www.cleveland.com/browns/20...-out-for-some-see-how-you-can-watch.html
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The stage is set for the Cleveland Browns’ return to the NFL Playoffs. The Browns will take on the Houston Texans in Houston in an AFC Wild Card Game on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC and locally on WKYC Channel 3. That means, due to an ongoing carriage dispute between WKYC’s parent company Tegna and one of the nation’s largest satellite TV and cable providers, DirecTV, DirecTV, DirecTV Stream and AT&T U-verse customers in Northeast Ohio will have to find an alternative way to watch the game.

"Battered Dawg Syndrome", bro. It's a real thing.
If one dangles a treat to a starving Dawg, then beats him for 3-4 years after trying to take it, that Dawg will learn to fear both beatings and treats.

We all suffer from it, to a certain degree.

I understand a Browns fan's apprehension and misgivings. After all, this playoff scenario is uncharted territory for all of us.

Great news....you can watch it for $5.99!

The fretting over $6 is hilarious. If I was not aware of the actual cost, I'd assume it was $3k and required a hard credit check. poke tongue

Fretting? Just wait until the NFL charges you for every game on Sundays with nothing free over the air. Are you so rich you want to pay for everything? OK...Since it's only $5.99 would you Paypal me the money? Thanks Thurston Howell III!

At a young age, I vowed to work diligently, so $5.99 was not a barrier to extremely minor enjoyments in my adult life. I succeeded in this endeavor!

I would be happy to help a destitute charity case looking for a handout! PM me your PayPal account. My lone concern is PayPal is not anonymous and you'll continually show up on my doorstep like a stray cat that I mistakenly fed. tongue

I don't worry about who we play. If we are good enough, we will win. There isn't a team in the playoffs we are immune from loss.

Play the game and see what happens.
