Or have you not even started yet?? I have to go out for a couple more things today, and will get that done prior to the game. Went out yesterday afternoon and it was a madhouse! One gal running a cash register said to a co-worker while I was standing in line yesterday "I hope it stays busy like this, the day is going by so fast!" Get out there and git r done!

I finished up yesterday.....had one last thing to pick up for my mother-in-law.
Other than that, the only real chore left is to stop by the butchers tomorrow to pick up the prime rib I have ordered and maybe another stop by the liquor store to replenish the bar .

That's been the tradition in my family now for several years...although in my case, I'm one of the 'grown' kids.
If my parents ever get any grandchildren, we'll go back to the other way.
I just got one more thing to pick up today, then I'm done.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

All the gifts are bought and wrapped! Stocking stuffers are all stuffed as well. All we gotta do is open 'em!

Started and finished last night. As usual it was a blast. Me and my brother and a friend of ours went like we always do every year. Do a little shopping, take a break and do alot of drinking, then finish up shopping. It's fun every year, don't think I have ever laughed so much in my life as I did yesterday.

I always hated waiting until the last minute. Once in a while, I have a hard time finding something for someone and may have to still go out, but usually everything else is pretty much done. This year, everything is done. When I wait to the last day to do it, it seems like you're rushed and end up just buying anything, where when you go early, if you don't find something for someone, you can always find something later the next time you're out. I like to put a little thought into it and try to find something nice. I know my sis always likes what I buy her because she says I have good taste. My family helps out a lot with our daughter in watching her, and she is challenging to get her to eat so I know it's frustrating to them. I try to show some appreciation by spending time and looking for good gifts. Too bad I'm hurting for money this year! Oh well.

I started last night.. and finished last night..
If i couldn't find someone a gift in Target, then they just aren't getting one. But fortunate enough, I found something for everyone. I refused to go to more than one place to shop this year. lol.

heh, I'm finishing my shopping after the game If we win and clinch a playoff berth, I'll probably overspend. If we lose, everyone will likely get something really, really cheap and crappy. Merry Christmas, lol

Did all my shopping online this year. Did not want to deal with getting stuff through airport security this year. I've seen how my checked bags look after the TSA has been through them.

Just need to buy for Grandma...but I'll do that online and print out a pic of what she's getting. I didn't know until yesterday what she needed and it's something my company makes. no way to get it here until after the first of the year (shipping facilities closed until then).

Search and destroy complete. I only had to run over 4 little old ladies, 8 kids, and one fat guy in a red suit. This might be a new record for me as far as Christmas shopping goes.

There's no way I can get it done in one trip at the last minute. I have way too much to buy (probably why I'm so broke). My wife buys her side of the family's gifts, and we both together buy for our daughter, so I have to buy for my daughter, wife, mom, dad, step-mom, brother, sister, step-sister and her hubbie, a grandma and a step-grandma and grandpa. I buy usually 10 things or more for the wife and 2-4 gifts for my mom, dad, bro and sis depending on the cost. So if I got all that done within 3 hours in one night, that'd be pretty damn impressive. Especially carrying it all.

Yes I know today is Christmas Eve. Unfortunately I had to work.
Honestly Shep, since I'm seperated from the spouse and he decided to get the cats a nice Christmas present and tell me it's for me (like I need a freaking electric litter box....so it's the cats) that I wouldn't be getting him anything at all. (we're seperated....I shouldn't have to spend money on someone I'm divorcing)
There might be one or two other folks I get something for but it's ok.

No .... I meant in my car .... and the suit was definitely bright red. It blinded me ..... until *blump* and then I could see again. The Santa speed bump.

Okay, I discovered in another thread that people actually believed me when I said this, so I'm here to set the record straight...
I would NEVER miss a game for anything short of death or disaster. 'Nuff said. My comment was a joke on an old poster.
