I got a pair of old, possibly even antique, high back chairs for my living room.
Really cool ..... and perfectly in line with my style. (whatever the heck my style is) lol

My favorite gift...was seeing my 3 wonderful daughters....Having them hug and kiss me...telling me how much love they have for me.....My first Christmas without my family...... Nothing I unwrapped....compares to them...And the real feel of Christmas spirit...was all about the love of a Daddy and his girls....

Had a friend of mine, who dresses up like Santa every year, come to the house last night for my 2 year old grand daughter. She was scared of him at first but made up with him towards the end (a little). My favorite X-Mas gift is making sure she has a nice one. She was our X-mas gift 2 years ago cause she was born on December 21st. Last year she was kinda small to really grasp what was going on. This year she tore into her gifts like a champ. The wrapping paper was flying. Hope everyone on here had a good one too.

If you think something like that will increase in value...what could it be worth some day....$100??? Big deal..showing your kid you like the gift is worth more than that.
Hurry up ladies and gents, there are only 6 days left in the year and you have witnessed the TLPOTY......(Tailgate Lot Post of The Year) Only 6 days left to try and top this response!
I've had a great Christmas thus far........and I have all I'll ever want and all I'll ever need......Thank you again to the keeper of the stars.

j/c my son drew a picture on a box that had a T-shirt in it. That was by far the best present! Besides the look on his face when he was tearing into the sea of presents "santa" left him. The other thing I got was a oversized coffee cup and 8 stainless steel plates. I made out

My older brother and I got an 80 gig PS3, (I have wireless internet if someone wants to play a game) 3 extra controllers, NBA 2K8, 2K8 College Hoops, a game yet to be chosen, another game I don't know what is, (I already have Madden and NCAA for PS2) a Browns sweatshirt, an authentic Joe Thomas jersey, a Browns sweatshirt, and $65. I would probably have to say the PS3 is my favorite.

I got some cool stuff. Probably the best is a matching TFT LCD (HD of course) monitor for my rig. Now I'm running a dual monitor rig and loving it.
Dyna got some serious love this Christmas. Her fav has to be the cordless photo printer from Epson. Prints all the photos from any disk/computer or bluetooth enabled device. =) She's super happy.

For me it was seeing the excitement on my 9 year old daughter's face when she opened her Wii and Hannah Montana tickets gifts.Nothing pleased me more.

A PS3!!!!!!!!
Nice, you'll have to jump online with some of us. Any good games?
So far I'd have to say my favorite 2 gifts were my Browns cornhole set from my borther and sister, and a calendar from my wife and daughter that has pictures of my daughter each month on it correlating with the month. Great unique gift!
Well, no games yet just internet......
When I do get Madden 08, I'll let you know, if you ever wanna play, once I'm setup, just shoot me a PM........

My nicest gift was a new suit. However, tonight as I've returned home, the first thing that I went to was Stephen Colbert's book.

OK, I finally just got back in the door after leaving the house at 7:30 this morning. My suspicions were right. I got Guitar Hero 3. This thing is awesome! I got a cool Browns t-shirt, A gift card to the Wing Warehouse just in time to watch the colts beat the titans Sunday night. A gift card to Play It Again Sports, a gift card to the Vitamin Depot. (Gotta try and live a little healthier this year). And a gift card to the Olive Garden. Me and the wives fav.
Hope you all had a great Christmas!

Well just got done opening the rest of my gifts, so I had to re-evaluate. I think the most special gift I got was from my daughter/wife. A 2008 calendar with my daughter Kenleigh in it. Has a pic of her for each month, with most of the pics correlating with the month. A Browns outfit for September, October was her Halloween outfit, December for Christmas, June was her Birthday pic....great sentimental gift right there. Loved it. I think my favorite other gift was either the snowblower from my dad(which caught me completely off guard as I never even mentioned one), or the Browns cornhole set for tailgating from my brother and sister. My mom got me some nice stuff as well.......damn, I'm 30 and still spoiled.

What a special gift ..... and a great idea on your wife's part.

a Yamaha FG730 Acoustic Electric Guitar along with hardshell case, stand, gig bag, and Levy strap. $700 worth of stuff there for the price of the guitar $500.
I was pretty excited.
Pretty happy to get some new CD's to my collection as well (BB, Buddy, and Jimi)

It always amazes me that some people will spend hundreds or even thousands on presents ...... when one truly meaningful and heartfelt gift would be worth more to the recipient than all of the others conbined.

My wife bought me a 9' Powell, 8 weight, graphite fly rod. A four piece with a hard case. This fall, Deschute River Steelhead will be at my mercy. I'll post pictures. A friend of mine took me out the other day and bought me a 80meg PS3. He got "tired of playing on my antiquated system ( a PS2)" when he came to town. I only have one game as of yet but that'll change after the new year.

Best gift was the excitement on John's face, my 20 month grandson, as he saw the Radio Flyer wagon and 4X4X4 playhouse that we got for him.
I was able to buy my wife of 34 years her first pair of diamond earrings also...it was a good Christmas.
I received a Radioshack "Sea Stormer" remote controlled boat large enough to transfer drinks and chips in my pool from the bar side of the pool to the other side without having to leave the water. Decadent but really nice!

JC, Vitamin Depot is my favorite store!!! The lady who owns/runs it is a Homeopathic Doctor. (licenced and everything) She is fantastic. Just take your card, go in and ask her questions. She is extremely knowledgable and really has good prices.
I sure do miss being able to make a 5 minute drive to go see her to resupply my holistic medicines. The place down here isn't quite as well stocked with variety as she is but at least they will order in something if you need it. And they make make their own breads. (all healthy stuff of course no white bread)
Sounds like everyone had an excellent Christmas.

CUISINART??????????????
I'll let this one slide though as KitchenAid doesn't make anything like the Griddler (I admit, I'd like one myself)

My favorite gift was an 8x10 picture of my grandson in a santa suit. I cried at the sight of the delight on his face. Second favorite was the rubber ducky set he bought for me

The best was my girlfriends children and their bf and gf coming over along with her bro from Orlando. A great Eve and we opened 'em all. I got her very nice 1/2 k. black and diamond twined earrings and the new Disturbed CD and a Paula Dean cookbook. She gave me a new 29 gal. aquarium, an ipod and a long-sleeved OSU shirt. My mom and dad (Mentor) gave some beautiful Browns beer glasses, my sister(Leroy) sent an inscribed book from John Gorman about the history of 'MMS and my bro (Painesville TWP) sent me the Cleveland Sports Illustrated. It was a great night.....now my big dillema...salt or freshwater??? Merry Christmas to all...and avoid Wallyworld the day after...

In a 29 gallon....fresh. I've done salt in a 30 gallon before, but I won't do another small salt tank...it's easier to keep the bigger tanks regulated for saltwater. The smallest size tank I would do salt in is a 125. Good luck either way you go.

I understand, but we kinda cheat down here in bfe Fla...we just go get the water straight from the ocean and don't worry about pH and all that. We don't get any really $$ fish. (my last one ..a 55..I had a really cool starfish with an eel and a coupla clowns with some anemones, but the eel wants to eat everything...LOL). I really want salt, but don't want to clean up the *residual* from the tank. Do you know of any really cool freshwater fish?? Thanx
