I agree. In the words of Joe Thomas, he is a middle class player. You need to take care of that part of the roster. If your roster is all high priced guys and low priced guys, you are opening yourself to some pretty deep valley's if players have to miss some time.
Dunn can play across the O-line...valuable guy to have. When he comes in to a game, I don't fear the floodwaters will be rushing through the floodgates.
