They have sown the seeds that no matter what happens to trump it's always someone elses fault. You know the entire "If trump wins the election it's fair. If he loses it was rigged" BS. This is setting up to be no different than that. They already have their built in excuses in case he is found guilty. What's so amazing about all of it is that otherwise normal, rational people keep buying into it.

I have no idea what the outcome of this trial will be. Not even so much as a guess. I do believe that if he is found guilty of any of the charges they will be charges where the witness testimony simply corroborates the documents submitted during the trail. But this entire "trump is always the victim" card they've been playing since 2016 has grown old and stale for everyone other than those that blindly support him. Even when some of them claim they don't.

Since it's been the same line used in everything he has done since 2016 why would you expect anything different?

As I posted, the judge explained to the jury what was needed to constitute trump's actions as criminal. It isn't a mystery to them. It was plainly spelled out.

There are New York laws included in the charges. Gymnastics is only the appearance to those who have zero athletic ability. Who is being "Charged to life like Frankenstein"? Now that's semantics on a gymnastic level. Explaining the things that constitute a crime isn't nefarious. It makes it plain to a jury what does and what does not constitute guilt. It's not voodoo if different jurors find him guilty of different crimes. The bottom line is they would all be finding him guilty of criminal acts.

Often times when a new prosecutor is appointed or elected, that prosecutor decides to try cases that former prosecutors did not. It's actually very common. Your assertion seems to be that what a family member does for a living or how they conduct themselves has a direct impact on what someone else in their family does. That's quite a stretch with nothing other than that assertion involved and no evidence to support it.

I'm not sure where you get that Judge Merchan is presiding over three of trump's four criminal trials. The documents trial will be held in Florida and presided over by trump appointed judge Eileen Cannon. The Georgia election interference case will be presided over by Judge Scott McAfee. US District Judge Tanya Chutkan is presiding over the federal election case in Washington D.C.

Buying into some of those things based on nothing but innuendo at best speaks volumes.

I wasn't actually expecting it either. But when one doesn't actually hear the totality of a trial it's very hard to determine what the outcome will be. The fact that there were 34 charges and it took so little time to arrive at the verdict on all charges indicates to me that the overall testimony was overwhelming in the juries minds.

Ironically, Eugene V. Debs ran for POTUS while imprisoned. Thanks to him being found guilty, I'm pretty sure He will get more votes than anyone could have ever imagined and it will be the nail in President Biden's coffin.
