Really the only question I ask, it’s the same question with every new Trump scandal, and I almost never get a straight response:

If, hypothetically, the same evidence and charges, all the same facts were brought against Biden or Clinton or Obama or anyone you oppose, would you assume it’s also a fix? Would their actual guilt or innocence not really matter in the face of the elleged fix? Would you jump to declare the whole thing a sham?

Because I can tell you this with 100% certainty, those politicians political lives would be over. Because their bases would leave them. And rightly. Because their bases aren’t entirely made up of dictator worshipping petulant children who know no level of shame they won’t swallow to the last drop

Yet they don't tell you how those voters lean politically. 56% of New York metro city voters are Democrats. 26% of them are Republicans. 18% of New York city voters have no political lean either way. So it's quite obvious by those numbers that some on the jury were most certainly Republicans. Some had no political lean whatsoever yet they came to the verdict on all counts in a relatively short period of time.

Well, if the jury was chosen in a heavily biased area of town, and the DA and Judge both campaigned for their jobs on putting Trump in jail, then yes it would be a weaponized judicial system. Its beyond fixed, its weaponized. To take out a political candidate.

It's a little ironic maybe - from what I understand (and I claim to be no expert) the decision to press charges in this hush money case as a felony is probably a stretch. But having said that - Trump is literally a festering scab of indecency and corruption. He's gotten away with so much - and here he's finally a convicted felon in a criminal court of law. Found guilty by 12 jurors - the way the legal process is intended and does work. Period. Railing against the decision is simple deflection.

For those that think this is Biden subverting justice or weaponizing the DOJ - maybe look in the mirror. Maybe look at what Trump did throughout his own time in office to see what weaponizing the DOJ looks like.
