It has to be Kamala. They don’t have a choice but to choose her if they swap Biden. Not choosing the VP would alienate sooo many people.
IMO, not picking Kamala, who is already in position to take over, regardless of whether or not she’s good at her job. and choosing a dude out from the cold would guarantee a Trump victory, because the Dems will lose the women vote, and perhaps some minority votes as well.

Trump was so-so. Biden was horrible. He was everything many people said he was ... weak, confused, and so on. Biden lost the debate in the 1st 15 or so miniutes. He had opportunities to hit Trump back, but couldn't seem to figure out how to do it. This was with a week's worth of "debate prep" as well.
Trump was overly braggadocious. I think that he would have been better served to have downplayed his typical "I was amazing" rhetoric.
The most devastating line of the debate was when Trump said something along the lines of "I don't know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don't think that he does either." If Biden loses, this is where his campaign died.
