Legit question. All reports say it was from about 200 yards. With todays ammo and a sighted in scope, any .308 can easily be accurate at 200 yards with a fairly skilled rifleman. You don't need to have sniper level skills to hit a fairly small target at 200 yards.

Ballpeen, years ago there was an attempted assassanation of congresswoman gabby Giffords. The lefty dems started trying to tie an ad online, I think, that included a target that was showing the congressional districts the republicans were targeting. Lefties tried to tie that ad and Sarah palin I think, to the attempted assassination. That comment by Biden seems eerily similar.

Today was a sad day for America. Someone tried to assassinate a former president who is also the leading candidate for president again. An innocent person lost their life and another is fighting for theirs.

From one side we have conspiracy theories that this was staged as well as people publicly saying they are sad he missed.

On the other side we have people vowing retribution. Both are bad.

It’s my hope Trump can come out and bring the temperature down with a statement. Biden and others have come out with statements but I don’t see Trump supporters eager to listen considering those are the same people calling them Nazis and fascists for the past 8 years.

This just punched his ticket for the White House imo. He’s going to get such a bounce from this from his base and the right generally it’s not funny. It was my first thought when I saw him punching the air and shouting “fight”. That is quite literally exactly the thing (and perhaps the only thing) 1/2 the country cares about and the optics against Joes response speech,,, sheesh. I hate him more that words can express but I’m glad he’s ok. If he died I think we’d have riots and plots and conspiracy garbage galore and much more besides. So yea, im glad he’s ok. Given today's political environment it's not surprising that people want to take something Biden said and suggest that was a call for Trump to be assassinated. More than ironic that those same people saw nothing wrong with the Jan 6th rally and what Trump said that day to an angry mob, while fake electors were in place etc ... and the subsequent silence while it was going on for far too long.

What happened today doesn't change the person he is or how unfit for POTUS he is - your fawning and idolizing over him says a lot but personally I'd still listen to Pence or any one of dozens of his close inner circle when he was POTUS who universally state the man is unfit to be President.
