Got this for Christmas. What is the best resolution for a 22 inch monitor? It say 1600 x 1200 but that is not an option to select from the menu. Thanks

I use 1280x720 on my 17inch. Not sure about thet large of monitor?

Is it a widescreen? If so it should be set to 1690X1050 for native resolution.

1600 x 1200 may be the monitors max resolution, but the best picture will depend on your video cards capabilities.
So just tinker with different settings.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

1680 x 1050 is the max resolution for that monitor... and also just happens to be approximately the 1080 needed for HD (although it is a 16:10 aspect ratio); I would give that resolution a try.
