This is about marketing. Giving fans, the ones that help pay the bills, feel they have some sort of say to make them feel they are relevant. Your suggestion accomplishes none of that. And why anyone feels this holds any actual importance is beyond me. It doesn't change anything. Has zero impact on the play. Zero impact on wins and losses. It's just a gimmick. As long as they win I don't care what they put in the middle of the field.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I bet the players would have picked the dawg too

Exactly.

These guys don’t want no elf on the field. It’s embarrassing.

Liking the end zones too.

Hopefully our players are the ones visiting them the most.

I don't pay attention much but do all the other teams have the AFC/NFC logo in their end zones?

Seems like fewer and fewer every year.

This is really cool -- scroll down a little, click on the Steelers field and it will show all of this years regular season fields.

Click on any team from that sub and it will show a year-by-year historical view.

I don’t care what the mid-field logo is.
