I think this was the same offer from a month ago, no? Weird.

I believe Mike Silver had said the original offer was $27M/year for 4 years. Looks like Aiyuk's agent was able to squeeze out a few extra million per year after the CeeDee Lamb deal.

Should've have closed the deal with Aiyuk by telling him all the West Side Market has to offer!

He was always gonna stay in SF probably. Just wanted to avoid TC

The thing is, is the structure of the contract different than it was a month ago? I don't know the answer to that question but the way a contract is structured, especially when it comes to the guaranteed money makes a world of difference.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't know. He may have wanted to avoid state income taxes in California or at least get paid more to make up some of the difference with what he was offered elsewhere.

Belichick was talking about coaching in Tax-achusetts on the Pat McAfee show the other day. Apparently taxes do come up in contract negotiations.

Going from 27M/year (reported previous offer) to 30M/year is a 3M difference which almost but not quite covers the ~12.3% (last year's rate for the highest bracket which he now definitely resides in) state income taxes.

Great move by the Ratbirds. Hope they didn't give Huntley too much of the playback knowledge to hand over.

Havent seen any mention of Chubb recently and googled his status. Thought we were looking at 4 weeks out with the PUP list but now Mary Kay is saying mid season, maybe even after the bye week 10. Adjust your season predictions accordingly.

I've just seen an article that is already starting to beat the "bring back Kareem Hunt" drum.
Not sure how I feel about that; I don't know if he has anything left.

I think Kareem left everything he had on the field. Unfortunately I don't think he went and restocked. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

"Jed's dead, baby. Jed's dead."

Might be time to rewatch Pulp Fiction.

Did Wills pick up some new injury while rehabbing or what? Did team doctors swap out his and Conklin's legs?

Browns' Jedrick Wills: Activated off PUP list
By RotoWire Staff

• 1 min read

Wills (knee) passed his physical Monday and has been activated off the active/PUP list, per the Browns' official site.

Wills landed on the PUP list in late July as a consequence of the knee surgery he underwent last December. Though he missed the entire preseason slate, Wills is in line to start at left tackle for Cleveland during the 2024 campaign.

At this point it has to make people wonder what the hell is going on.

Maybe the most predictable prediction I can predict is that we’re gonna see a whole lotta Parsons and Lawrence bum rushing the show from the edges this Sunday. Sure hope our RB’s and TE’s have been shining up their chip blocking skills. Sure hope Ski has a plan that involves getting rid of the ball quick!

Other than his bout with his girlfriend, I got nothing bad to say about Hunt. But I do think he's done.

Just my own opinion.

The guy is slack. He has no desire or backbone., and that comment isn't even about his current status just off injury. I have felt this way for some time.

Wills honestly may have packed it here. As soon as he didnt get a contract extension he threw in the white flag

Yeah dude is charmin soft. He had an MCL injury, even with a grade 3 he should have been back months ago. Something isn't adding up

I'm not surprised you attacked his character first. But I think there's more to it than that. If he were the type of person you described he would never have gotten to the point he is now in the first place. Nothing in his background would suggest he is the type of player who would just pack it in.

Yea that's why I just said infection and not the whole description, lol.

I just watched an interview with LeCharles two days ago (talking about Ohio St and Olineman). He's doing awesome things with his sports training facility. He still looks like a beast.

Wills ruled out, now Conklin is questionable for Sunday. Gonna be an interesting afternoon for the offense I’m betting. Plan on a whole lotta Parsons in DW’s grill on Sunday.
