Posting it here as it marks the first weekend in quite a while where we can park in front of our flatscreens and mangia all day! The best part is that we get a meaningful game on Sunday: LSU v USC at noon.
Games that I’ll tune into on Saturday:

14 Clemson v 1 Georgia at noon

7 ND Irish v 20 Texas AM at 730

Nothing too interesting after that but come week 2, we get 4 Texas v 9 Michigan at noon.

The Buckeyes don’t get challenged until week 6 v 21 Iowa and then week 7 v #3 Oregon.

So glad that football is back.

looking forward to PSU vs WVU - lots of hatred there

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I’ve heard that. Also heard that WVU vs PITT is just as deep as Ohio State/Mich.

from someone in the area of fans ... it's pretty heated. They've avoided playing for years and it's finally coming to fruition

Eh! The games are to be as expected at this point. I have a feeling that Fresno is going to give that team up north a contest. Looking forward to USC v LSU tomorrow.

Tetairoa McMillan is an absolute baller. Would love to see him in a Browns uniform. Unlikely, the Browns draft high enough to land him.

Trying to figure out where Alabama will go from here. Losing a legendary coach can ruin a program. Ohio State has been very lucky to go from Tressell to Urban to Day. Day hasn’t won a chip yet, but has the Buckeyes in the conversation every year. LSU is another team that got lucky - moving on from Les to Ed Orgeron to Brian Kelly. - 2 championships and now a coach that led ND to the dance a few years back. Think about U.S.C., Florida, Nebraska — all powerhouses that haven’t been to dance since losing legendary coaches.

I agree. At Florida, I had high hopes for Billy Napier, but he isn't the answer to anything. He is recruiting just a step above the players he recruited at La Tech.

FSU in a dog fight with BC right now

I don't think dog fight means what you think it means. BC beat FSU into the ground as a 17 point road underdog. Second week in a row that FSU went down as a heavy favorite. DJ Uiagalelei has been absolutely horrible.

I didn’t place any bets this weekend and glad that I didn’t. - If there was one thing that I was sure of, it was FSU winning big and easily covering the spread. Phew.. 0-2 and losing to two teams that they were picked to beat. Wow, unbelievable.
All the talk on the radio today was how disappointed fans are r/e Clemson, Florida, and LSU. But Florida State is on another level of disappointment.

Texas is a 6 point favorite at Michigan next week. I was confident that they would cover. However, after what Florida State pulled tonight, I won’t trust my instincts for a while.

Early season games are always unpredictable. You never know which teams are ready to play or which teams will or won't live up to the hype.

If you are looking to bet longshots to cover, go ahead and play the dogs early, but other than that, keep your money in your pocket until maybe week 3 or 4.

FSU got embarrassed. I thought they'd maybe come back and make it more competitive, you know, because they SHOULD. But there was no fight in that team

DJ Uiagalelei is lousy. I hammered Boston College at +16.5. Boston College's OL absolutely bullied FSU's DL.

So what are yours and Ballpeen’s thoughts on Texas v Michigan? Texas is a 6.5 point favorite - in Michigan. I think that Quinn Ewers will win the Heisman and is a slam dunk number one pick in the draft. Everything tells me that Texas will win by more than 10 but I’m not touching this one.

I'd stay away as well. My first reaction is to take Texas, but Michigan has a new coach, in the Big House? Yeah, keep the wallet in the back pocket.

Yeah, I would definitely give Texas the edge because of the QBs, but might be too soon to write off the new guy at TSUN. Michigan's defense could keep them in it. Will Johnson, Michigan CB, could go really early in the draft. Throw in home field advantage, and I'd probably keep my money in pocket.

Texas should win, though. Michigan's breaking in a new OL and QB. Sarkisian will find a way to score points. Texas scored over 30 in every game but 2 last season and those were 26 and 29. They did lose Worthy and Sanders to the NFL, but replaced them with transfers from Alabama.

Sounds like the Longhorns have had this one circled for awhile. On the other hand, I think Michigan spent much more time trying to figure out who its own starters were going to be.

Should be a good game to watch hopefully.

Things will be vastly different in Michigan this season. They no longer have an unfair advantage and Harbaugh bolted.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Michigan is in sad shape. History will show these last three seasons as a small blip with an asterisk.

Texas should be #2 - at least until we see Ohio State play Oregon.

Penn State doesn’t belong in the top 10.

As much as I hate ttun, I admire their quarterback for coming back from leukemia- have a friend dealing with it now and my heart goes out to all victims of this disease.

Michigan will drop a few spots.

GEEZ Notre Dame, so long Marcus.

Nope. They played 2 small colleges. All the televised games sucked yesterday. Except for Michigan losing.

There were some good games.

OK St v Arkansas was a good game. Iowa v Iowa St was a good game just to name a couple off the top of my head.

A complete snooze fest for week 3. I guess we can all watch ‘Bama at Wisconsin just to see if the Badgers can cover the 15 point spread. Either that or find something to fix at home.

Week 4 will be better. Get USC at Michigan at 330.

Not many, but some nice games.

WV v Pitt is always a good game. Big rivals.

LSU v SC looks like a good much-up.

I will be surprised if Bama wins by less than 17 points
