What the hell is this obsession over crowd size. Do you and Trump both know it means nothing.. NOTHING at all... to worry about it is dumb.

Tsk. Tsk. It seems you even try to compensate with the size of your text by using ALL CAPS.

Psychologically, crowd size matters. People want to be on the winning side. If you make it appear as if you have more support, more people are more likely to join you. Sort of a subconscious peer pressure.

Both sides seem to try to use it.

Only one side doesn’t need to appear to have more support and the other side does because of it.

This ain't good. A lot of the talking points and misinformation from these Russian media groups is also shared by rather prominent political figures as well, including MGT and Junior. It's more smoke to corroborate something I already thought was a HUGE problem. For those of you thinking we shouldn't be aiding Ukraine, think twice...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/wing-influencers-were-duped-covert-002030448.html

NEW YORK (AP) — They have millions of followers online. They have been major players in right-wing political discourse since Donald Trump was president. And they worked unknowingly for a company that was a front for a Russian influence operation, U.S. prosecutors say.

An indictment filed Wednesday alleges a media company linked to six conservative influencers — including well-known personalities Tim Pool, Dave Rubin and Benny Johnson — was secretly funded by Russian state media employees to churn out English-language videos that were “often consistent” with the Kremlin's “interest in amplifying U.S. domestic divisions in order to weaken U.S. opposition" to Russian interests, like its war in Ukraine.

In addition to marking the third straight presidential election in which U.S. authorities have unveiled politically charged details about Russia’s attempted interference in U.S. politics, an indictment indicates how Moscow may be attempting to capitalize on the skyrocketing popularity of right-wing podcasters, livestreamers and other content creators who have found successful careers on social media in the years since Trump was in office.

The U.S. Justice Department doesn’t allege any wrongdoing by the influencers, some of whom it says were given false information about the source of the company's funding. Instead, it accuses two employees of RT, a Russian state media company, of funneling nearly $10 million to a Tennessee-based content creation company for Russia-friendly content.

After the indictments were announced, both Pool and Johnson issued statements on social media, which Rubin retweeted, saying they were victims of the alleged crimes and had done nothing wrong.

“We still do not know what is true as these are only allegations,” Pool said. “Putin is a scumbag.”

In his post, Johnson wrote that he had been asked a year ago to provide content to a “media startup.” He said his lawyers negotiated a “standard, arms length deal, which was later terminated.”

Kostiantyn Kalashnikov and Elena Afanasyeva are charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act. They are at large, and it was not immediately clear if they had lawyers.

U.S. officials have previously warned of Russia’s use of unwitting Americans to further influence operations in the 2024 election, but Wednesday’s indictment is the most detailed description of those efforts to date. Intelligence officials have said Moscow has a preference for Trump.

Russian President Vladimir Putin authorized influence operations to help Trump in the 2020 election, while his 2016 campaign benefited from hacking by Russian intelligence officers and a covert social media effort, according to U.S. law enforcement and intelligence officials.

With the decline of traditional media like newspapers and limits on direct advertising on social media platforms, influencers are increasingly playing a key role in politics and shaping public opinion. Both the Republican and Democratic parties invited scores of influencers to their respective national conventions this summer. But with little to no disclosure requirements about who is funding influencers' work, the public is largely in the dark about who is powering the messaging online.

Though the indictment does not name the Tennessee-based company, the details match up exactly with Tenet Media, an online media company that boasts of hosting “a network of heterodox commentators that focus on Western political and cultural issues.” Tenet’s website lists six influencers who provide content, including Pool, Johnson, Rubin, Lauren Southern, Tayler Hansen and Matt Christiansen.

Tenet Media’s six main influencers have more than 7 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 7 million followers on X.

Fueled by public outrage and online fandom, the influencers who make up the bench of talent at Tenet Media have amassed millions of loyal followers who agree with their staunch conservatism and brazen willingness to voice controversial opinions. Their channels also have created communities for conservative Americans who have lost trust in mainstream media sources through Trump’s 2020 loss and the COVID-19 pandemic. Several of them have faced criticism for spreading political misinformation.

The indictment shows that some of the influencers were paid handsomely for their work. One unidentified influencer's contract included a $400,000 monthly fee, a $100,000 signing bonus and an additional performance bonus.

Tenet Media’s shows in recent months have featured high-profile conservative guests, including Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump, former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake. The nearly 2,000 videos posted by the company have gotten more than 16 million views on YouTube alone, prosecutors said.

Pool, a journalist-turned-YouTuber who first gained public attention for livestreaming the Occupy Wall Street protests, hosted Trump on his podcast earlier this year.

Johnson is an outspoken Trump supporter and internet personality who was fired from BuzzFeed after the company found evidence he’d plagiarized other works.

Rubin was previously part of the liberal news commentary show “The Young Turks” but has since identified as a libertarian. He boasts the largest YouTube following of Tenet’s influencer roster and hosts a show called “The Rubin Report.”

Tenet Media President Liam Donovan is the husband of Lauren Chen, a Canadian influencer who has appeared as a guest in several Tenet Media videos. Chen is affiliated with the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA and has hosted shows for the right-wing network Blaze Media. RT’s website also lists her as a contributor of several opinion articles from 2021 and 2022.

How many people that never had any crowds have you seen get elected?

It is much easier to see if you open your eyes and look. There are lots of things you haven't seen apparently. It's been a common theme with you recently.

Yes - that's what he suggested. That people with no crowds do get elected. He didn't write that but I am sure you are right to go straight to that absolute. I am certain he didn't mean that politicians with various different crowd sizes can all be elected and the actual numbers of who had more people at a given rally versus another didn't sway the final result. Things like venue, weather, the day of the week or the time of the day didn't play any factor in crowd size - just whether the candidate was going to win.

I guess in absolute terms - you must be saying the person with the largest crowd size must always win. I mean that would be the logical conclusion based on your belittling of Daman.

"CROWD SIZE DOESN'T MATTER" was a stupid claim. I posted an extreme hypothetical case to clearly illustrate why. Feeling like I was getting yelled at probably played a role. They weren't discussing weather, they were talking about making crowds seem bigger through technology.

Your guessing sucks and your logic is worse.

I avoid BS "absolutes." Crowd size is a factor in elections. Is it the only factor? No. Does it matter? Yes.

One of your people says something dumb in all caps and making up bogus fabrications is all you've got in defense.

the MAGA hatters have a "whos more racist" contest brewing up!!!

MAGA Civil War Erupts as Laura Loomer and MTG Trade Blows in Public

https://www.yahoo.com/news/maga-civil-war-erupts-laura-122438156.html

Two of Trump's most trusted allies went for each other in a spectacular and public spat after it emerged that far-right commentator Laura Loomer had accompanied Trump on a private plane to the debate.

Axios reported on Thursday that Loomer had been “egging him on” during the flight after his other advisors urged caution and tried to convince Trump to stick to messages on key voter concerns like the economy instead of pushing old grievances and sharing easily debunked conspiracies such as Haitian immigrants eating people’s pets.

Trump appeared to take Loomer’s advice and turned in a fiasco of a performance marred by one rambling diatribe after another. A day later, Republican House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene chose to jump on a three-day-old Loomer post and kick-start a civil war.

Greene excoriated Loomer on X for an “extremely racist” message she posted about Vice President Kamala Harris.

In the Sept. 8 tweet, which quoted a post by Harris celebrating her South Asian background, Loomer wrote that if the Vice President wins the election “the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand.”

Three days later, the day after the debate, Loomer—a 9/11 conspiracist—accompanied Trump to Wednesday’s solemn memorial ceremonies in New York City and Pennsylvania.

Greene, who has previously used homophobic and racist slurs and claimed being called a “white supremacist” was akin to a Black person being called the n-word, decided it was finally the moment to call out discrimination.

“This is appalling and extremely racist,” she said on Wednesday, quoting Loomer’s post on X. “It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”

Greene called on Loomer to remove the bigoted post.

The combative Loomer responded with a series of broadsides, accusing “raging antisemite” Greene of infidelity and of “behaving like a leftist” for attacking her over what she said was a joke. (Greene, for what it’s worth, has a long record of flirting with antisemitic tropes and voted against an antisemitism awareness bill in Congress because she claimed it “could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was handed over to Herod to be crucified by the Jews.”)

“Laura and I used to be friends going back to 2018,” Greene retorted. “I used to defend her and support her.”

She suggested Loomer, who has mounted multiple failed congressional bids in Florida, was bitter because she refused campaign advice from Greene that would have helped her win.

The two staunch MAGA figures left their feuding unresolved.

Loomer, a noted Islamophobe who last year shared a video alleging 9/11 attacks were an “inside job”, told the Associated Press that she had been invited to attend the memorial ceremonies with Trump “as a guest”

Not everyone in Trumpworld approved of the guestlist.

FATE, im picking MTG in this battle!

If I were a Trump supporter, MTG and Loomer being in his circle of trusted allies would be so depressing.

I've seen Jerry Springer episodes which have brought more class to the discussion than both of them. Good grief...

On top of all that, why the hell is Trump bringing a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to a 9/11 memorial remembrance?????

Because he has zero self awareness and also lacks any sense of humility.

But apparently nobody told him this was a bad idea? I mean when you got MTG of all people checking Laura Loomer, things have gotten way out of control.

Maybe Large Marge should have been on TrumpForce One instead of his latest squeeze.
I've been saying for years that Dude's an empty vessel, just waiting/willing to pour out the last thing that was dumped into him, before taking the mic.

We have endless accounts of former Trump Cabinet Staff who said the same thing about him. Folks worked that azz off to be The Last One he heard at the end of staff meetings... only to be outlasted by the likes of Stephen Miller and Michael Flynn. And it's also the base reason that all other Cabinet members who stood up to him on constitutional measures either resigned- or were fired.

Swish: count the number of public appearances made/books these former WH personnel have published, warning us about the danger this drool machine presents, before the next election. They have, to a person, tried their best to sound the alarm to all of us. Despite my political disagreements with many of them, I have no reason to disbelieve their first-hand accounts, regarding this man's character/personality profile.

Intellectually bereft, morally bankrupt, venal, ethically lacking... and willing to adopt whatever is suggested by the last person who fondles him- verbally or physically- willing to give him the strokes he needs to carry on.

His basic mental makeup is what makes him such a danger for this country.
It's why KGB operative Putin wants him in office. It's why Xi Jinping wants him running our nation.

And it's why crazyazz bimbettes like Loomer are able to handle him like a preschool teacher handles her class of 4 year-olds.

The Far Right have him on lock.
They know what they have to work with... and they know exactly how to get what they want, with him as their useful tool.

Trump isn't the real danger.
His handlers are the real danger to America... and he's just dense enough to help them make it happen.

Tools do the work of those who handle them.

Project 2025 Staffer's Viral Video on Abortion Massively Backfires
John McEntee accidentally made the strongest argument possible for abortion rights
Troy MatthewsSep 13, 2024
John McEntee, former director of White House personnel in the Trump Administration, and a key member of the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 team, has gone viral with a video that could not be more helpful to Kamala Harris and the movement for abortion rights in a post-Roe United States.

McEntee has a large following on TikTok where he makes videos under the name of his MAGA-only dating app he founded with start up capital from Peter Thiel, called "Date Right Stuff."

McEntee's videos always feature the Project 2025 chief of HR sitting down at a table in a restaurant eating while making pithy racist and offensive observations, typically about gender ideology and diversity equity and inclusion, that Trump supporters can't help but enthusiastically devour.

In his latest viral take, McEntee poses a question about abortion access in red states that came up during Tuesday night's presidential debate.

"Can someone track down the women Kamala Harris says are bleeding out in parking lots because Roe v. Wade was overturned?" he asks. "Don't hold your breath."

McEntee asked, and women answered. Many made video responses to McEntee telling their own stories. One particularly powerful video from Carmen Broesder with account name @geekynerdbitchcarmen was shared by WordClown and AGirlHasNoPresident on Instagram and received nearly five million views:

McEntee received over 11,000 comments on his video, mostly from women describing their own stories, or stories from relatives or friends, of brutal and horrific medical complications that have resulted from providers refusing to provide medically necessary abortion in red states for fear of prosecution.

Some examples of the heartbreaking comments included: (WARNING: graphic)

"Almost lost my ovaries at 21 while begging for a D&C they wouldn't give me until I was screaming at the drs..finally agreed because I was measuring behind."
"My water suddenly broke and I went to the er, they sent me home. Started cramping and went back to the ER. I miscarried at 17 weeks in the restroom at the ER because I wasn't deemed an emergency."
"One of my friends who bled for three days in a hospital room while her baby died inside her and the hospital wanted to help her but couldn't do anything"
"I was told when I had a possible ectopic pregnancy that I would have to wait until it made me septic to get the surgery to save my life."
"My daughter had to drive 12 hours from Texas with an ectopic that nearly killed her. She couldn't get a pill that would have saved her but ended up needing surgery because of the delay in care."
"Had a cyst burst inside my uterus while pregnant causing a mc [miscarriage]. The on call doc said it's best to wait a week to see if it comes out naturally. Now I can have 0 children bc my uterus is gone."
"I was so excited to find out I was pregnant with my second child, after miscarrying 5 times. In my 11th week, I started to spot and then gush blood. I was filling a super maxi pad every 15 min."
"It almost happened to my wife this year, it's called a uterine dehiscence and we were 22 weeks and one day pregnant she began to rupture...she pretty much became a vessel in the state of Kansas."
"Hi, I had to beg for help during my miscarriage and had to get a blood transfusion and stay in a hospital for over a week."
McEntee unintentionally provided a forum for the literally tens of thousands of woman who are being harmed by Republican anti-choice extremism to speak up and let everyone know the consequences of Donald Trump's abortion bans, and there are certainly many more that we don't know about and haven't come forward.

All it took was for someone to ask.

Even faced with all those responses my guess is he has had no change in views. That’d take compassion and empathy. Two traits rarely shown in hardcore conservative troglodytes such as this creatin.

I went to a game and out to eat with my kids yesterday and came home and this popped up on my tik tok while watching the Georgia game last night. I read through at least 25-50 different replies from women. I had to stop. Very troubling.

And no, this will not deter the Peter Thiel sponsored scumbags like "the right stuff" McEntee and Vance.

‘Remarkable Confession!’ JD Vance Absolutely Floors Observers With Comment That He’s Been ‘Creating’ Stories About Migrant Pet Eating

Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) is being called out for his stunning comments on CNN Sunday defending his baseless claims that Haitian migrants in Springfield, OH have been eating household pets.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, the Ohio senator claimed the pet eating stories he has been pushing are “verifiable” — but also said this:

“The American media totally ignored this stuff until Donald Trump and I started talking about cat memes. If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do, Dana, because you guys are completely letting Kamala Harris coast.”

He added, “I say that we’re creating a story, meaning we’re creating the American media focusing on it.”

The comments absolutely stunned politicians, journalists, and other observers:

Ohio sheriff suggests residents keep a list of homes with Harris yard signs

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ohio-sheriff-suggests-residents-keep-005629720.html

What’s crazy is conservatives who actually love this kinda talk. This crap is terrifying and he shouldn’t be in charge of a parking lot, never mind being a sheriff

It's a good thing she doesn't have the power to actually set policy on her own. It's also a good thing she isn't in local law enforcement whose actual duty it is to protect all of its citizens and not use political rhetoric to further divide his own community.

I'm not excusing AOC. She's too far left for me and says some crazy things sometimes. I think what you pointed out is one of them.

But she is one vote in a body of people that sets policy. No matter what she says she can't change anything or has no power to do so on her own. A local sheriff has much more power within his own, local community. When law enforcement tells his community to make a list of people whose views goes against his own politics that's a horse of a different color. Hopefully you can see that.

Except, he didn't say that. He's being forward looking, and if some people come there, he wants to be able to house them, appropriately.

Wait. Digging up some 4 year old article on AOC from 2020 is the same as a fascist bitch cop? I don’t think they are the same at all. That sheriff is a menace to society and should be immediately fired. AOC on the other hand is calling out bad actors working for and with Trump in 2020 and damn right they should have been cancelled. Anybody with a whiff of responsibility for J6 should be fully cancelled, prosecuted, and punished for life. There definitely should be NO EXCEPTIONS for those traitors and none of them should be able to serve in elected office.

Trump told the crowd recently that he’s gonna blame the Jews if he loses this election.

Trump tells women 'I will be your protector' — and touches a nerve

On Monday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proclaimed himself the “protector” of women in America.

“You will no longer be abandoned, lonely or scared. You will no longer be in danger. You’re not gonna be in danger any longer,” Trump said while campaigning in Pennsylvania. “You will no longer have anxiety from all of the problems our country has today. You will be protected, and I will be your protector. Women will be happy, healthy, confident and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion.”

Many of those claims echoed what Trump had written in an all-caps post on Truth Social about women in which he boasted, “I WILL PROTECT WOMEN AT A LEVEL NEVER SEEN BEFORE.”

Of course, the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, who could become the first female president in U.S. history, took issue with Trump’s assertions.

“Women know better — and we will not be silenced, dismissed, ignored or treated like we’re stupid,” Harris spokesperson Sarafina Chitika said in a statement.

In one way, at least, Trump’s pitch to female voters makes sense. An NBC News poll released this week showed that while Trump holds a 12-point lead over Harris with male voters, he trails her by a staggering 21 points with women.

But the way Trump framed his remarks also seemed to touch a nerve with men and women alike.

“This notion that women need to be protected, that women are somehow weak or vulnerable — this sort of protectionist, patronizing tone ... I think for a lot of women will just add to that sense of he doesn’t understand their lives, that he doesn’t understand where they are on a whole host of issues,” Debbie Walsh, the director of the Center for American Women and Politics at the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, told the Associated Press.

In an op-ed for The Hill, conservative author Matt Lewis wrote, “Trump has said many things over the years that could be construed as misogynistic, paternalistic, condescending and even quasi-fascistic. But this one struck me as an underrated example of Trump revealing his dark worldview.”

In a race in which abortion rights are a central issue, thanks in part to Trump’s appointment as president of three Supreme Court justices who helped overturn Roe v. Wade, his statement that women will “no longer be thinking about abortion” could be interpreted in a number of ways.

Co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC Mika Brzezinski offered a less-than-charitable reading.

"No, thank you. We don’t need that. Women like their rights, and they like their access to healthcare, and they like someone who tells the truth and doesn't lie constantly," she said on Tuesday’s program.

And in a biting and sarcastic piece for the Washington Post, columnist Alexandra Petri mused about Trump’s promises to women should he be reelected.

“Now, Donald Trump is back and you are not thinking about anything. All your anxieties are gone, now that men are handling all the country’s problems,” she wrote. “It would have been a mistake to put a woman in charge! Fortunately, that did not happen. Fortunately, Donald Trump is guarding you. You are guarded! You are not worrying your pretty little head.”

The Trump campaign has also heard the criticism.

“President Trump is responding directly to the concerns that he hears and our campaign hears from women across the country every day, their fear, the very real fear that women have about being assaulted or potentially raped by criminals or illegal immigrants who have been allowed in this country,” spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told the AP.

In May 2023, a New York jury of six men and three women found Trump liable for sexually assaulting writer E. Jean Carroll in a changing room at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan. During the 2016 presidential campaign, a video of Trump boasting of his ability to sexually assault women surfaced but ultimately did not keep him from defeating Hillary Clinton.

Stormy and E. Jean Carol told women that trump will not protect them. The E. Jean Carol jury did as well. So did all those women he grabbed by the pu$$y.
