Well Jules.....

We could talk about our offensive line woes

or our Defensive line woes....

or our secondary woes.....

or our world class quarterbacking platoon...

or our excellent coaching..

or our staph infection problem

or our beotch 2nd year wideout.

At least this is humorous

Indeed !! If not relying on the glimmer of hope that next years draft MAY bring us then what hope do we have ? I know it's weak but hey, down to desperation here.

I love this mock... I hope we draft every single OSU player we can... Plus I love mocks that list players who haven't even declared they are coming out yet...

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

If we draft Ted Ginn Jr. I will burn all my Browns gear and start cheering for someone else. We don't need anymore skill players, we need hogs up front.

We needed hogs for the last few years as well but I didn't see you whining like this when we drafted that bum Braylon Edwards... I'm sure though if Ginn went to Michigan you would be loving the pick, and telling us how great he is...

Corrected so brownsfan2119 doesn't get his panties in a bunch...

Mock drafts are especially fun when you have as many needs as the Browns, it's like trying to solve a math problem with 8 variables...

It wouldn't be any fun at all to be a Chargers fan... do we need a QB? nope. RB? nope. Pass rusher? nope. TE? nope. Corners? nope. LB? nope. Offensive line? nope. OK, draft the best WR available...

The draft would be far better, even though less fun,if we were wondering what bonuses we could add to the roster, rather than asking,"How much can we fix this off-season"?

Was that before or after he told you we should trade up to the number one spot giving up our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks in 2007 and 2008 to get Troy Smith

Bum Braylon Edwards? LMAO......not even sure why I waste my time with people like you. I think Braylon's college numbers speak for themself. Everyone wants to write the guy off after less then two seasons. Be my guest.......Just out of curiosity, what offensive or defensive lineman was a projected top 5 selection? Hell, which one was even a top 10 pick? Still thinking? We took a WR in '05 because unlike this draft, the talent was average (by NFL standards) in the trenches.

Yeah......that's definitely it. Shame on me for not wanting a 6'0'' 180 LB underachieving PR/KR specialist that claims he's a WR. The guy has 14 career receiving TD's in 3 seasons......sound like a top 5 pick to me. If that's what we really want (an underachieving PR/KR specialist that claims he's a WR) I'm sure Breaston will be there as an UDFA. Go away....

Like I said if he was from Michigan you would be telling us all how great he was... It's what you do, so why hide it...

Note: I wouldn't draft him, but I wouldn't quit rooting for the Browns if we did happen to draft him, though he hasn't even declared he's coming out yet...

Honestly, it's a dead end conversation. Edwards put up phenominal numbers in college, the likes of which Ted Ginn could only dream of. If he would just keep his mouth shut he'll be fine....Does he drop some passes? Obviously......but who doesn't. It was a problem early on at Michigan and he worked hard to correct it......why should I assume it won't be a similar situation here? Do I think he's been great? Hell no I don't but I'm also not dumb enough to say the guy is a bust (like many people already have). If he doesn't turn the corner next season by all means show the kid the door.......and I'll be the first to say it.

I didnt even post this mock because of Tedd Ginn going to the browns, I though the whole thing was aboslutely rdiculous.

However since you started it

You mention this as if it were in the past. He ALWAYS has dropped the ball. He didnt correct anything.

Tedd Ginn can do things on the football field that Braylon Edwards will never do, scoring from anywhere on the field is one of them.

Name me 5 TD's in Edwards college CAREER Where he did anything other than outjump a 5 '8 cornerback from Michigan state. How many jump balls is he getting in the NFL? Is it an Effort thing?

How about some Edwards scores from BIG GAMES.

Lets here 'em

You say you wont waste your time with "us people" yet you keep slamming our kids and than whining when we come back at you.

You want to talk numbers but It isnt Tedd Ginn fault that he isnt the only weapon in the OSU offense. If he returned for his senior season I am pretty sure he could at least put up some comparable numbers to Edwards.

I know Edwards definitley has more drops in OSU Michigan Games than Teddy has.

You dont have to worry about him losing that stat.

But Nas since I see you are again pimping of one of the big blew......how many tackles did Branch have in the OSU michigina game??

Go ahead pimp your boys "numbers"

I'm glad at least someone else noticed what Nas does... His Michigan homerism always comes out and gets upset if someone questions one of their players ability... Funny thing is I'm not even a bigtime OSU fan, I don't even care for college ball that much, but it's funny as hell watching people do what Nas does... He needs to take off the Blue and Maize glasses, and realize not all Michigan players are great...

LMAO man......are you serious? You guys have some pretty short memories huh? We'll go the 5-6 biggest games each season.....

2004:

Notre Dame: 12 catches, 129 yards
Iowa: 6 catches, 150 yards, 1 TD
Michigan State: 11 catches, 189 yards 3 TD's
Ohio State: 11 catches, 172 yards, 1 TD
Texas: 10 catches, 109 yards, 3 TD's

2003:

Notre Dame: 4 catches, 54 yards (Probably his worst big game in his career).
Oregon: 13 catches, 144 yards
Michigan State: 7 catches, 103 yards, 2 TD's
Iowa: 7 catches, 114 yards, 2 TD's
Ohio State: 7 catches, 130 yards, 2 TD's
USC: 10 catches, 107 yards

2002:

Washington: 5 catches, 80 yards, 1 TD
Notre Dame: 4 catches, 95 yards
Penn State: 7 catches, 66 yards, 2 TD's
Ohio State: 10 catches, 107 yards
Florida: 4 catches, 110 yards

So during his career against Ohio State (3 games) he had 28 catches, 409 yards and 3 TD's.........LMAO.......per game averages against Ohio State of 9+ catches, 136 yards and 1 TD.....but again.....how about him in those "big games"......

Let me do the math for you on Edwards: 12 of the 16 games he had atleast 100 yards, 7 of 16 he had 10+ catches, 6 of 16 were multiple score games, 9 of 16 he has atleast 1 TD.

wow, this was incredibly funny to have to rattle off that list after assasin tries to jump in.

can understand Edwards' frustration, but I think it might be misdirected, or at the very least ill-timed. First of all, Edwards only catches 50 percent of the passes thrown to him. For some perspective, that puts him in the company of such distinguished pass catchers as Plaxico Burress and Antonio Bryant.

Yes it does, for right now.

Plax has been in the league 7 seasons, Bryant 5 and I don't think either were coming off an ACL tear. If he doesn't make any progress he'll inevitably fall in to that same category......but 25 games in, I don't see the reason in passing final judgement on a player. Sean Jones looked pretty clueles last season (and I heard much of the same from posters --- bust, yada yada).......a year later the guy pushed for a pro bowl selection.

I think the biggest thing has been his mouth.......I'm sure if he had kept his yap shut not as many people would even be throwing his name in to the conversation. His on field production hasn't been horrible, it's actually been pretty decent. He leads the team in yards, TD's and YPC.......if he can just get the other crap under control he'll be fine.

The bum needs to be held to higher standards since he was the 3rd overall pick in 2005... You also are backpeddling a bit, you considered him an impact player right off the bat, injury or not he hasn't lived up to were he was picked, add the mouth and I just can't wait to dump the overrrated scrub...
