If you have netflix, I have a couple of programs I would recommend.
The first is Mind Hunter. A true story about the FBI in the early 70's when they were first developing psychological profiling. Searching the minds of famous serial killers. Very riveting. It is a docudrama but well acted and all based on actual events and interviews.
The second is Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy wars. Another docudrama. It starts with the gunfight at the O.K. corral. We all are somewhat familiar with that event. To steal from the great Paul Harvey, watch and you will then know the rest of the story, and there is a lot of story you didn't know.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
While you can only binge watch season 1 because season 2 only has two episodes out this far, "The Old Man" starring Jeff Bridges is on FX. You can stream all of season 1 and the fist two episodes of season 2 on Hulu. New episodes air every Thursday on FX.
If you like something funny but a little quirky check out Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughn on Apple TV.
I watched Mind Hunter and it was pretty good.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
I mentioned it in one of these threads before. One of my absolute favorites. Watched a few years back and ready to watch it a second time. You get a well-constructed and mostly accurate outline of how profiling serial killers came to pass. Starting at ground zero, you see the hard work and dedication of the individuals who clawed beneath the surface to dig for what makes these killers tick. They had to throw away the rules of old and get into the mind of the killer.
Also, a keen eye for detail and great homage to the 70's vibe. Music, sets and props are spot on. 9/10... Two thumbs up.
I like binging On Patrol: Live when I have work to do. I just put it on the background and pay attention when something good is going on. It's a live police show. Like Cops, but filmed and broadcast live. It used to be called Live PD but they took that off the air when the George Floyd stuff happened. So On Patrol: Live is the reboot. I think it's broadcast live on Reelz, but you can watch past seasons for free on Plex.
While you can't binge watch it yet, the first two episodes are out on Paramount+....
After watching the first two episodes I think it's one of the, if not the best new series out this year.
I agree. Moreso I think Sheridan is writing his ass off lately. He's got the golden pen right now. Lioness is pretty good too, Tulsa king and Mayor of Kingstown, all superb. Yellowstone was revolutionary but really makes no sense without Costner, I see that failing after this season. But 1923 season 2 coming out and I really enjoyed that.
As far as binge, I might rewatch Dexter since the 2 new series coming out from that universe. Original sin and resurrections
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

I might have to check out the new ones you mentioned. I liked Dexter, but to rewatch not so much. I tried that but it was tiresome after a couple of episodes. The Soprano's on the other hand stays fresh, but that is just my opinion. To each their own as far as to what is rewatchable or not.

theres also Dexter:New blood that features Harrison/Dexter that came out couple years ago

There are a two series that are or have released a new season some people already like or in one case a new series I like.....
Reacher just released season 3 on Amazon Prime.
For Taylor Sheridan fans season 2 of 1823 premieres Sunday on Paramount+.
A new series my wife and I really like so far on Netflix is Zero Day. About a cyber attack that shuts everything down for just a minute which creates chaos with the threat it will happen again. It questions the limits our government might go to and how far they should go and is what I find a very interesting possible scenario.

I cannot remember when I read a "Jack Reacher" book.
It was before any movie or anything else.
So, in your mind you create a picture of what Jack Reacher would look like based upon descriptions in the books.
When a movie came out it starred Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher.
My first thought was "foul" Tom Cruise is not Jack Reacher. Sorry. He may think he is Jack Reacher but he looks nothing like what anyone would envision as Jack Reacher to look like.
Yes the guy in series. Not Tom (way to short) Cruise.
I agree with you having been someone who also read the book. In fact I haven't spoken to anyone who thinks Tom Cruise played the roll of Reacher in the movie nearly as well as Alan Richson does in the series.
