From what I've heard they reverted back to pagers to prevent their smart phones from being hacked and locations known. It appears that didn't work out so well for them.

That's funny. I wonder how malware makes something blow up. Depending on battery one could push the battery in a way to overheat it I suppose. The LiPo stuff all has a smart controller to ensure you don't do bad things when charging and discharging.

I read the pagers were rigged with explosives before Hezbollah got their hands on them. A lithium battery will not blow up like this.
So, what I want to know is, how long before they ban electronics on planes if terrorists can plant bombs in them? I don't see how they can. How do travelers function without phones? Everything is tied to your phone. So now there will be a problem.
