I would say that unions not endorsing kamala is more of a self serving move. The d's have allowed how many millions to enter this country illegally? Those people are looking for jobs. Not unions, jobs.

Unions are seeing that their jobs might be at risk.


On a side note, and I don't hate unions by any stretch - they've done some good things - but they've also gotten greedy.

So, the side note: Back in the 70's my grandpa started a business. It became the largest scaffold manufacturer in the country, and one of the largest in the world.

Grandpa was a family guy, and his employees were family. A "problem" employee started a move to become unionized. He was all about how "we could make an extra $1.50 an hour if we become union." And back then, that was big money.

He threatened to strike. Grandpa said "fine. I'm going on vacation. This is the number you can reach me at when you want to work again." This was before cell phones, obviously.

He pad locked all the doors and said "We're closed for business until I hear from you."

Took a week.

That same company, many years later, was bought by a German company, which a few years later sold it to a French company. To this day they are non union, and the employees are happy as can be.

And I'm willing to bet the reason they're so happy is because the wages and benefits are competitive with the unions. Where I worked was the same way. We had good pay and good benefits because they knew they would lose good workers to the union if they couldn't compete with them. The unions are who brought about paid vacations, a 40 hour work week, paid healthcare benefits, paid sick days and many other of the things many workers have today. And now non union shops have to provide those things to their workers in order to compete.

Of course if your business is in a location where there aren't ample union jobs available workers are happy with less than that because it's still better than other jobs in their area.

So I live rent free in your mind both day and night. Yet another reason to feel sorry for you.

"Councils" don't vote, members do. Actual facts that are everybody's friend.

Denial is your only friend. Your claim all along is how the teamsters union as a whole didn't endorse Harris. Yet when you are shown that many of the locals representing over one million members did endorse her suddenly you try to make that sound differently.

There are 1.3M members of the teamsters. Your math either doesn't add up or locals are ignoring their members wishes. Neither is the flex you think it is m

So Biden helps saves the teamsters pension fund with Harris as the deciding vote, Biden walks a union picket line and trump has said that anybody that strikes should be fired and they don't endorse? At least it looks like many local chapters are supporting Harris.

And as for the members, you are going against your best interest

please note that the Teamsters haven't endorsed Trump either. I"m not 100% but I don't think any locals have either.. You are all happy because you selectively pick and chose what you think is good news.
