Well, that's no way to start the day. (I grew up a Tigers fan. I'm an Indians fan when they're not playing the Tigers.)

1-0 Guards. Quick work of those bums

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Great win. Dominating performance. Feels great after a postseason win.

A live look at me if someone said just choose one broadcast team:

KC 3 - NYY 2 as the Yankees come up to bat in the 5th
One base hit, a single) and 4 walks to give the Yankees a 4-3 lead
KC walked 2 batters with the bases loaded.

I have never understood how a MLB pitcher could walk a batter with the bases loaded

Mets rally late, again, beat Philadelphia today. Just giving baseball fans on DT the National League perspective.

Monday game is big obviously. a 2-0 lead in a short series is a nail in the coffin

That’s a backbreaker. The Indians took Detroit’s ace that far and out of the game, only to have the best closer in the game choke like that. Series over. Bank on it.

And oh yeah…. GO YANKEES!

That’s the thing that I’ll never understand about the Indians ownership and fo - they know how to develop awesome pitching, so why not spend some dang money and sign a few hitters? This way, you’re not scoring zero runs in an early postseason game.

They don’t care. As long as they turn somewhat of a profit, they’re cool being mediocre.

Tigers v Yanks in the Alcs

Yanks V Padres in the World Series- A rematch of ‘98.

Jose Mesa would like to thank Emmanuel Clase as he's no longer the biggest closer choke job in Cleveland.

Eh! In Clase’s defense, he had zero run support. Mesa was at least given a 1 run lead in late ‘97.

Its the same issue we have every year, we rely too much on perfect defense and pitching because we can't score consistently. When I saw it was Skubal, I knew we were in for a tough offensive night. Until this Ownership/FO decide its time to actually invest in a few bats, this is our lot forever and ever amen. If a coach like tito couldn't get it done in that many tries, need to start looking at your roster. Not blaming this on Vogt at all.. He's done 10x better than I think most were anticipating.

I still think the Guards win, but if it goes 5 they'll have to see their ace again.

I also think the Royals might have the Yankees number. They outplayed them really both games.

A Royals/Tigers ALCS would be wild

any finals that don't include a big market team would kill MLB purists. They don't want any small market teams making it, I wouldn' t be surprised to see some judicious use of the umpires

Plenty of chances.

Just could not get the hits with runners in scoring position.

Win the next one and come back home.
