First I have to apologize to Kevin Stefanski. This is not your fault. Not even close. Secondly this speaks for itself. No words is needed.
And btw. Settling the civil lawsuit was the only logical option but it's also some sort of admission of guilt. Everybody is free to draw their own conclusions but for me it just validate my previous thoughts about what kind of man we're dealing with.
Just watched the first play. I disagree with Quincy. Cooper was open. The problem is that the throw should have been made 10-15 yards earlier in the route.
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no
DW needs to be benched. Whether it will be done or not is another story. The men running things may feel it’s too early to admit the mistake that has been made but eventually it will have happen. That video is damming no doubt.
Summary, lots of plays with clean pockets, wr's running wide open, and I mean wide. Watson either doesn't see them or throws late after the window closes
And his pre snap reads suck
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no
I'm sure that our OL is not as good as it used to be and our WRs have had drops and stuff .. but every QB deals with negative variables. Wasten is atrocious and broken IMO
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
I agree with what you said and saw. My opinion to explain what I am seeing in your post is a little more that I think I am seeing. His pre-snap reads seem to be a waste of time. Before the snap, he has chosen his receiver. He locks on him, stares him down, Sunday his choice was Cooper or he was told to go to Cooper. He holds it too long waiting for him to come open. This is why he throws late, often into traffic. I have often seen a receiver on the outside or deeper route ignored so he can throw a shorter, contested route. If that one falls apart, he will go to scramble too late or hold it for the sack. I can't say that I see him using even half the field. But he seems to panic and freeze. His window is closed pretty much at the snap. Every offensive series is a panic attack. What has changed? Improved? I almost gagged on quotes I read about "we gotta" to fix the offense. No confidence in his opinion, and less in KS. "I gotta coach better?" You have had AMPLE chances. If you have some clue, it doesn't show in the games. DW is lowering the play of everyone around him. This incompetent offense keeps the D on the field repeatedly. Shut up and fix something. Taking blame is as cute as it is admirable, but it is clearly not enough, and that many times over.

We will see what happens. It will be a national story. The Browns once again dragged through the mud.
You know, I agreed with you right up until this point. When you jump head first into a mud puddle and stand up to find yourself muddied, I think it's disingenuous to claim someone drug you through the mud puddle. Sometimes people don't make the news, they just report it.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
You can also bet your bottom dollar that nobody feels bad for us either because of DW’s legal problems and the fully guaranteed contract that the other owners were upset about when we did it. We really screwed up all the way around and we’ll feel the negative effects for years. What a mess!! We couldn’t have done worse if we were trying!
If I was advising Stefanski I would tell him to go against the owners/FO and bench Watson. (if the FO/owners has restricted him making own decisions)
He will be supported by most inside the NFL, including Brown's supporters, local and national media but more importantly his players will side with him. If he gets fired he will receive many good offers from other organizations so for him it’s a win and win situation.
So if it's this owner and FO that created the story it's the medias fault for reporting the story? I mean I get what you're saying and all. There's a 24 hour sports network. There's a 24 hour NFL network so they have to come up with content to fill all of those hours. But when this organization serves up fodder like this on a silver platter for them I won't cast shade on the media for reporting it.
It certainly doesn't take a blood hound to find a bone you lay right in front of a dogs nose.

Anyone who watches the Quincy Carrier video can clearly see what the story should be...it is clearly obvious what it's going to take to fix what is wrong with the Browns offense.
Here’s a possible solution. Trade DW to the Jets for AR. DW will love it in New York!!! Both QB’s can use a change of scenery. I’m sure it can be worked out. Earlier this year I wanted to trade him to the Giants for DJ but he’s playing too well now!
I kept thinking on Sunday that this is a team where no one is doing anyone else any favors. When receivers aren’t dropping balls, DW is throwing behind or over them. When the OL isn’t falling apart, DW is holding the ball too long or failing to sense the pocket. When the passing game inevitably stalls, the running game is nowhere to be found. The offense isn’t giving the defense hardly any rest and zero cushion. The DL isn’t stopping the run consistently which means DB’s have to pick up the slack. I could go on and on. It’s a cascading thing. No one is consistently interrupting the dominoes.
I hate to pile one guy but there is unified theme, a source of the Nile, the domino starter. Yes, there’s lots of other problems but one position has the power to make every other offensive position group’s job either easier or harder and he’s, without one tiny doubt, making everyone’s job harder. If they have another game like this against the eagles and are still unwilling to sit him then something’s up. As in, people above KS are making the call. And I don’t see AB doing that. I think both of them are willing to do whatever’s necessary to win. So… Haslam. But we’ll see.
Literally the ONLY glimmer of hope I have atm is now that his (latest) case has been settled he’ll find his head and pull it out of whatever dark musty sunshineless place where it’s currently stuck. I wouldn’t say it’s a lot of hope. More like the old familiar Brownsian hope against hope. But hope none the less.
Then there’s the opposite hope. That DW crashes so hard and so undeniably that we simple must move on and in doing so have a little Holcomb-esque rebound. I can’t deny that I have some of this. I really don’t like the guy, I hate rooting for him, I wish he wasn’t here and I kinda hate our FO for doing this. He is not a leader of men and I deeply fault the organization for not recognizing that.
But I was willing to root for the position and my team. But now? We’re getting close to where I WANT to see them and him pay the price. Just a bad team.
"Team Chemistry No Match for Team Biology" (Onion Sports Headline)
I don’t know if this is true of course but I live in NYC area and it’s been rumored for a while that AR & Saleh were not good and if anyone was going to get anyone booted it would be AR punching Saleh’s ticket. So, depending on what comes next I would expect the Jets and AR are married more now than ever.
No, no one is going to willingly take our bedbug infested, scarlet fever blankets off of us. Dream on brother.

Watching this video should really be enough to bench Watson. He simply has no clue what to do. Zero. Unbelievable. SMH
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.
I refuse to believe that he can’t even trying to throw the ball to wide open players just 10-15 yards in front of him. When he starts to scramble and leaving the pocket even when his receivers/TE has created separations then there’s something else going on.
My guess is that he has no intention to make a play and why is that we can only speculate anbout even if I have my suspicions.
He's so bad that it almost has to be deliberate because it isn't just all the open receivers he hasn't thrown to, but the number of times he throws and the ball is placed where the receiver can't get to it. I've seen more high throws than throws on-target.
It's almost like he's giving the organization the finger with every snap, and he can do it because he gets paid no matter what.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
Might I suggest that him not only turning down Cleveland's first offer at a contract but also stating that he the Browns were a team he refused to be traded to might have something to do with this? I don't know whether that has anything to do with it, but when you hear a player saying he refuses to be traded to team, gets guaranteed that boat load of cash and then his play falls off a cliff like this I wouldn't rule it out.
Maybe it's as simple as he doesn't want to be here.

I think the athletic RPO running QBs are great if the grey matter between their ears is also above average. I don’t see this in Watson. So now we have a run first QB, in a pass happy league, and his receivers are all losing faith. Meanwhile, Flacco and Baker are tearing it up. I don’t get how getting and keeping a decent QB is so damn hard in the NFL. Forget a franchise QB, give me a scrub that has the fire to succeed and shows up to put in the work on Sundays.
They are still treating DW like an all pro diva. He’s a washed up could’ve-been.
Sam Darnold is on a one-year contract in Minnesota. See how he does the rest of the year. If he continues to do well try and sign him here, draft a QB if there's one we like in the draft and after June 1st, 2025, cut DW. Just a thought. Darnold can do better without even trying.

What? How is that good advice?
Sir, they fired Kevin.
Owner: Excellent, let's hire him. I love hiring people that make me look foolish and go against my demands.
If KS did that other owners would probably understand and give him a pass because it's the Cleveland Browns. I know I'd be very understanding. Sympathetic too!!!
