Regradless of political persuasion I think most of us are agreed that the system is not great when the two (initial) candidates were Biden and Trump. Not a whole lot better with Harris/Trump but it's a bit better. Many agreed both VP's presented themselves better in their debate - although having seen the Vance Trapper interview - Vance is someone I wouldn't ever vote for.
On election day - the popular vote once again will almost certainly be for the Democrats. Many of the smaller less populated states are going to exert a larger influence than they would perhaps warrant - pointing to one of the issues with the electoral college. I believe the Republicans would have figured out a way to change it if they were "forever" winning the popular vote but losing the race.
I heard the other day on the radio - 42 states are already predetermined with no need for an election because they are Red or Blue no matter what. More pointing towards a broken system. Personally I find it odd that the poorest and least educated states are predominantly Red .... You would have thought there is a way to address that? (Speaking from the Lefts perspective) ... and the lack of the Democrats to find a message that resonates to young white (18-35) and poor states is one of the problems. (The problem?).
Personally I believe it all comes down to PA - been saying that for weeks. Not particularly revolutionary based on the Polls.
Talking of Polls - again on the radio listening to various opinions and discussions both for and against either candidate.... [1] Are the numbers of women voting going to be the difference? [2] Pollsters have apparently tried to counter their Trump under-polling from 2016 (and 2020) .... have they done enough or will Trump still out perform the polls? (Yes I know they were within tolerance - but they all missed low). [3] Have they over compensated for Trump?
No doubt it will be a crap-fest if Trump loses. Interesting (as least to me) that no-one is talking about it being a crap-fest of Harris loses. In many ways that says everything - Trump is simply an entitled, lying bully. But again that's a personal perspective.
Last comment that to me summed up this election and the fact that Trump is on the ticket - during an interview and former republican voter was asked who they would vote for and their answer was thus: "That's easy, I will vote for the one that is not an adjudicated rapist or convicted felon" .... I guess that together with all the comments from Trump's former inner circle and people who worked closely with him from the Generals, Chief of Staffs and Attorney Generals etc...

I believe once you convince people the other side is "demonic", a quote from trump, nothing else matters to them. Once you convince the people listening to you that anyone and everyone that speaks out against you is "the enemy within" nothing else matters to them. Once you convince them that every news source that does not blindly support trump is "the fake news" nothing they say makes any difference to them.

A video falsely claiming election fraud in Arizona that the US intelligence community said Monday night was manufactured by Russian influence actors was first propagated by an organization linked to the notorious “troll factory” that targeted the 2016 US presidential election.
Russian influence actors “manufactured and amplified a recent video that falsely depicted an interview with an individual claiming election fraud in Arizona, which involved creating fake overseas ballots and changing voter rolls to favor Vice President Kamala Harris,” the FBI, Office of the Director of National Intelligence and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said in a joint statement hours before Election Day.
The video was created and propagated by the Foundation to Battle Injustice, known as R-FBI. The group, which casts itself as a “human rights” organization, was the focus of a CNN investigation published last week into Russian efforts to sow disinformation about the US election process.
The staged video was shared on X by the head of the R-FBI, Mira Terada, and appears to have been viewed at least 236,000 times before being removed. It shows Terada conducting a fake interview with a so-called whistleblower who is described as “a former aide” to Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. The individual — whose face is blurred and whose voice appears to be AI-generated, according to deepfake detection tool TrueMedia — claims election fraud in Arizona.
Fontes has said the claims are false.
CNN has reached out to the R-FBI and Terada for comment.
CNN’s investigation with Clemson University’s Media Forensics Hub researchers found that the R-FBI has links to a Russian disinformation network known as Storm-1516, which has increasingly taken aim at the 2024 US presidential election.
Terada’s X account was shown as suspended late Monday. CNN has reached out to X for comment.

I'm a Floridian, Trump projected to win......voters have spoken. Hope, he does good job if elected....I have no faith in that. Time will tell. Whole middle of America seems to be Trump land- WOW, can't believe we may elect a felon as President.
