I did mention Jones - referring to DeWand Jones I think he could be our LT of the future. I think he struggled early being out of shape - which I attribute to the injury preventing him from being able to train but not affecting his ability to eat
As for the rest of the o-line - I would trade any of them. I love Bitonio but he probably only has a few years left
I like Tellar but I gthink when he becomes a fa he will be asking for more than we are willing to pay for an OG
As for Chubb, he will probably be better next season than this season Though agree he likely won't be what he was. I just don't think getting rid of him would be fruitful for an already tenuous fanbase/team relationship The more I think about things like this and how hamstrung we are by the Watson failure, I half think that the 2025 season will be a tear-down to reset our Cap situation and acquire some Draft capital to then restart in 2026. I would definitely prepare for 2025 to be middling-to-ugly like it is now. I'm worried with his cap hit we can't field a 53 man roster.

... a tear-down to reset our Cap situation and acquire some Draft capital ..... I understand what you are saying, PrpleP, but acquiring a bunch of late round picks (Smith) isn't going to get you to the 'Big Show'. If you are serious about a tear-down then go all the way. By all means acquire some high round picks but of course, it will be very costly (in terms of personnel). No half-baked measures and commit to it....

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

When you reach the point you are in cap hell, have to be sellers because your team is that bad with no prospect of improvement. You cannot keep that regime. Its time to blow it up and try again.
