Great reply. LOL

As for opinion, what a goofy comment. This is a message board. Everything on this topic is pretty much opinion driven. I think you will have a hard time finding people who even come close to agreeing with what you just said.

Look, I don't have a dog in this fight but you're practically begging for someone to dig up what people were saying when Kamala was sworn in.

Forgive me for not trying to scroll back to try to figure out who we are talking about at the moment. Are you talking about Wiles or somebody else? This thread has had dozens of twists and turns.

Yet even red states have voted to expand abortion rights when the voters had a say after abortion bans have been imposed upon them by their state legislators. Seven out of ten states in total so far. Are you sure you understand what the term "almost everybody" means?

Which is exactly my point. You are a person who thinks you have a right to impose your opinion on every woman in America. And you're not alone. But it's far from "almost everybody".

So rights aren't rights depending on who you are? When it comes to people having rights it's usually on a national level. Civil rights was not left up to each state. Women's right to vote was not left up to the states. But somehow you think a woman's right to choose should be left up to the states. You basically are endorsing that a woman's rights should be decided based on where they live and not that all women should have rights equally, everywhere.

I know you wish to make that sound like a different topic but this is about women having the right to choose. It is about women having the same rights everywhere in this country. But as I stated earlier, I knew you would dodge that part of the discussion like the plague and you haven't failed me yet.

But for some reason men want to control women's decisions about what's going on in their uterus. I still haven't figured out their fascination with that.

So what rights a woman has or doesn't have depends on where they live and what rights the people who live there thinks those women should have. It sounds pretty odd when you say that out loud.... " I don't want women to have the same rights where I live as they do in other places."

More so than people in Cali, and New York City telling everybody in Ohio what their rights are.

So that's your excuse for taking women's rights away? Because they don't live in the right place? That's just sad.

You see, it really has nothing to do with what New York or California say. It has to do with what you say about your claim you have the right to strip others from their rights.

According to YOU thats correct. I mean your all against men rights to raise their own children, or to even have a say on if their son or daughter lives or dies. So you see you and others are the ones who want to strip away peopes rights.

States' Rights Amendment

The U.S Constitution is the written list of laws for the United States of America. James Madison is known as the Father of the Constitution because, in 1789, he wrote the first 10 amendments.

The 10th Amendment to the U.S Constitution says that 'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.' That means the U.S Constitution lists certain decisions the national government gets to make for all parts of America and lists certain decisions that states are not allowed to make. States do not have the power to override any part of the Constitution or its amendments. But any decision not on either of those lists is left up to each state to decide for itself.

The States' Rights Amendment also says that the national government is not allowed to stop certain decisions that individual states make.

The 10th amendment was ratified, or became official, on December 15, 1791.

You want to deny men any option hmmmmmm I want = footing for both. So that means you are the one who wants to discriminate bro. You want to deny men the right to save their own kids.

So I ask you... why do you support discriminating against men???? Why do you support men not being able to save their own children???

How would you feel if you had to sit by and watch somebody murder your child while you could do nothing about it legally. Oh wait never mind according to you and some others men have no rights, and y'all address that by denying it and blaming men.

No, men have the same option to carry a baby and give birth if they want to. No, wait a minute, according to you they only have a right to force women to do that. Women can be controlled by men based on geography. Murica!

That's because possessing weed is a federal crime. It's not as if weed has been legal all across the nation for 50 years and politicians in your state just decided to deny you of that right. I know you want to make it sound like it's the same thing but it's not.

NO it wasn't legal for 50 years, it was legal until 1970.

In the United States, marijuana became illegal in 1970 with the passage of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The CSA classified marijuana as a Schedule I drug, making it illegal to possess, use, buy, sell, or cultivate cannabis nationwide.

So weed hasn't been legal for the past 50 years. And weed is still illegal on the federal level. Thanks.

Abortion was illegal in the United States for a long time, but the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision established a federal right to abortion:

Before Roe v. Wade
Abortion laws varied by state, but most states had laws restricting abortion. Some states allowed abortion in certain circumstances, like if the mother's life was threatened or if the pregnancy was the result of rape or incest.

Roe v. Wade
The Supreme Court's 1973 decision established a trimester framework for abortion laws. States were prohibited from banning abortion in the first trimester, but could impose more restrictions later in pregnancy.
After Roe v. Wade
Abortion remained a federally protected right for nearly 50 years. However, in 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision. Since then, states have the power to set their own abortion policies. Many states have created new restrictions or bans, and some have begun enforcing existing ones.

Oh weed is illegal federally! Pfft… haven’t cared since I was a kid. Some laws are made to be broken. And since you apparently haven’t heard, I’ll inform you, laws no longer matter.
