Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

RIP to a legend

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Damn, he was a legend for sure.

Also, after seeing the title, I'm glad this didn't end up being a Quincy Morgan post.

I saw a documentary on him recently.

Wow. What a dude. Super cool guy. So respected by all.

He worked with the greatest musicians in American history.

Brilliant guy.

lol . I didn’t know Quincy Jones had died but I knew by the thread title that he wasn’t talking about Quincy Morgan.

Jones is legendary, he even got Will Smith on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when Smith was basically a nobody.

I'm not ready to talk about this, because I have so much to say.
A million words get jumbled- and they all get in the way.

I'm hurting (and feeling loss) in ways that I cannot describe.

I've only been hit like this a handful of times, over my many years of music performance and fandom.
This is why:

Quincy Jones' bio

This has been a difficult week for me to navigate. I still have to do my job, while also mourning Q's passing.
I'll get back to this thread with deeper thoughts when I'm able.

Sad to hear that he passed. Early 90’s, my buddy loved that “Back on the Block” album.

I understand the type of feelings you have.

There are a few musicians left that I know are near that when they go; I will be crushed.

At the same time we are so fortunate to have shared our time with them.

I have to reflect upon the joy and pleasure that they brought.

When you are moved to tears then the journey was worth it.

The recent documentary on Q was an inspiration. He was so loved. That alone makes his life a treasure.

LOL...along those lines, I started to laugh when I saw the thread title and was thinking Quincy Carrier.

It is featured on his '73 album "You Got it Bad, Girl."

Q: composer, arranger
Dave Grusin: electric piano,
Phil Woods: alto sax
Earnie Watts: tenor sax
Bob James: Hammond B3
Ray Brown: bass
Bobbye Porter: percussion
'Junior' Morgan: bass harmonica, soprano blues harmonica
