His promises from his first term …. the scoreboard hit just above 50%. I’m pretty sure I know which of these he won’t even try to do.

I don’t know how qualified he is. I do know that he spent 20 years in the military and I believe he is a major in the reserves. He is a veteran of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq where he served in combat roles, being awarded with two bronze stars as well as other awards.

He has degrees from Princeton and Harvard. He has written books about what he thinks is wrong with the military and how to fix it.

Most people on the right think that Garland has been the worst AG we have had. Sicking the FBI on parents who protested at school boards.

He was in the national guard and did time at Gitmo before he was actually in the front. Retiring as an O-4 on reserve duty hardly qualifies someone for a post where the Chief if Staff, a four star, is your subordinate. I think that says it all.

I mean, kudos to him for his military service, but going from retired O-4 in national guard/reserves to chief of the entire military is a stretch by any set of the imagination.

I mean, I think Kinzinger is awesome as a politician. He’s an O-5 LtCol and still has absolutely no business IMO being mentioned as someone who should be in charge of the Pentagon.

Just to put Gaetz into context, we are taking a guy who was investigated by the FBI for potentially trafficking underage women…and putting him in charge of the Department that oversees the FBI, who oh by the way, the DOGE Duo wants to eliminate.
