I'm sure they will by Saturday but I just did a ticket bastered search and 2 tix in 500 section did pop up.

I thought they were the greatest fans of all? I couldn't tell by how the stadium was empty in the 3rd qtr of the Jags game. They do play in one of the smallest NFL stadiums. The goverment checks should of arrived by now unless they have a dentist appointment

Oh, it would have been fine in Tailgate had you not added your second paragraph:

Awww, how cute...a Smack Shack virgin. Don't worry, I'll go easy on you...

Personally, I have to wonder why you were looking for Steeler tickets on Ticketmaster to begin with. Could it be because your own team couldn't get the job done?

Yes, they do. But what does that have to do with who's in and who's out of the playoffs?

Anyways, regarding the topic of your thread...

A few tickets available for Steelers vs. Jaguars
Friday, January 04, 2008
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

A limited number of tickets are available for the Steelers' wild card playoff game against the Jaguars at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Heinz Field, the Steelers announced today.

The tickets became available because of returns from the Jaguars. They can be purchased on-line through www.ticketmaster.com.

Hurry and get em while you can, Hooper. They'll be gone before you know it. Just don't change your gathering spot to "SteelerTalk Island"....I don't think that will go over well with the Browns fans who are sticking with their team.

Hoop... just go down to the stadium around the 3rd quarter... you should be able to get one from the Stooler fans that are leaving early.

BAM!!!

The young coach made so many mistakes, should of gone for extra point instead of two after penalty. He stuck to the coach chart. Rookie!

Big Ben sucked big time.

How about the QB rollout on 3rd and 6. What a bunch of idiots. It's too bad that we beat them but the officials decided to alter the outcome. -Kinda like they tried to do against Jacksonville yesterday. Did you see Hines Ward latch on to the db's facemask, and then get a pass int call to go in his favor. -Only in Pittsburgh. By the way, I loved the part about using their gov't checks to pay their dental bills. -Hilarious

Only one thing wrong with that. Stooler fans DON'T GO TO DENTISTS.

I was really confused with.

How do you get and goal at the 1, and pass about 5 times. adding the pass interference, they passed like 5 times.

with a back like Najeh Davenport, you have to run that ball.

However...side note. A couple years back. I was on Yahoo, and Najeh had injured his foot while playing for GB. and I had him on my fantasy squad and when i read the update, it listed his name as Najeh Davenpoop. no lie. I laughed for so long it was incredible.

Najeh Davenpoop. Amazing stuff. I couldnt make it up, its too stupid

There's a story behind the moniker that you might not be aware of and it's a lot worse than sticking peanuts up ones nose.

Google "Najeh Davenpoop" and click on the urban dictionary.

So, did you all pee your pants when the Steelers overcame the 18 point deficit to take the lead? Did you throw your dog bones at the TV set, thinking "oh no! The Stoolers win in post season AGAIN!"??

Pooper - you mentioned that "Big Ben sucks". Here's a fun idea -- how about we compare Ben's performance vs. the Jags to Anderson's performance vs. the Bengals. And while you do that, keep in mind that the Bengals game was a must-win to get into the playoffs....and also....it was the BENGALS.

Oh well, looks like I will be rooting for the Colts to beat the Pats in the AFC Championship game. Hey, are there any Browns fans that can loan me their Colts jersey? You know, the one that you all bought because you had to rely on their 2nd string to accomplish what the Browns couldn't?

Nah, we knew what Bruce was capable of...

I did almost want to throw something at the television as I saw Whines drag that DB by his face mask which led to the Steelers' score.

Welcome to karma.

Yeah, I said to Michelle as we were leaving a party after watching the game there that it was even more fun that they came back and then lost, thus making it even more painful for Steelers fans.

One of the stoolie fans that likes to give me a difficult time at work hasn't been in since the loss. His wife came in yesterday and I asked her if he was p/o'd. She said he fell asleep before the game ended and DIDN'T know his beloved stoolies had lost. Woke up Sunday to find out that they lost and was in a pissy mood the rest of the day.

The Tool hasn't been in since Friday. Doubt if I will see that one again for at least a week or more

Yesterday was so much fun at work. So many stoolie fans NOT wearing their colors and me sportin my Browns gear with a big chit eatin grin on my face.

Better win % , can hold my head high Good day to be a Browns fan.

Doubt I'll be seeing alot of that pee yellow and black for a while.

sigh....no sorry, but a Steeler playoff loss does not make the Browns a better team. I would think that you all would have learned this by now.

And pardon me for asking, but what did those same Steeler fans say to you when the Browns lost against the pathetic bungling BUNGLES to miss the playoffs? Or do we not discuss that?

I will tell you what I tell shep all the time when we get into a heated debate....win a Superbowl first, then come talk to me (that always shuts him up ).

I hear ya. Just the same as the Pats losing in the playoffs would make ME happy...

But I wouldn't proclaim it to be a "good day to be a Steelers fan" and "holding my head high" as a result of it, because the Steelers would have nothing to do with it.

I just think atomic was a little over-the-top with her reply....but it's probably because of the abuse she has taken from Steeler fans over the years.
