Now that's funny, and sadly, way too true.

I guess if you can't see the humor it's okay to Karen. But what is "disturbing" and who is offended?

Justin Trudeau described his recent meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago as an "excellent conversation". The Canadian Prime Minister stated that he had a "fantastic discussion" with President-elect Trump during their dinner at Trump's Palm Beach, Florida estate. Trudeau's visit was characterized as a "positive and wide-ranging discussion" that lasted approximately three hours, covering various topics including border issues, defense, Ukraine, NATO, China, pipelines, and the upcoming G7 summit in Canada.

It's called 'a sense of humor'.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Good Lord, are you serious?

Sadly, at ALL levels of gov't., that is too often the case.

I just missed out on a 'gubmint' job this week. It was something that would've been very easy. Turns out, when talking with the 'gubmint' employee that was doing the deciding, my price, while 32% cheaper than the company they went with, was not good enough. I told the lady the company they went with wouldn't do anything different than I would. (hey, I KNOW my competition).

I was told "You didn't talk to us enough. The other company did." I responded "I didn't know I needed to schmooze you. I gave a price, and guaranteed the work." I was told "I don't know you."

I simply said "Ok. I know you had a different company out to do this job - 4 times - and they didn't get it right and that's why you need it done again. Yet, you're going to pay 32% more than I charge for this other company. Good luck. And please, don't call me again as price and results don't seem to matter to you."

That wasn’t a federal solicitation, was it?

Nope. But that doesn't change my point.

I'm glad we are supposedly going to be cutting gov't. waste, because there isn't a business around that has more waste than our gov't., from local, to state, to federal.
