Daily Telegraph is predicting a win for Harris.

For anyone who doesn't know - the British media is like the US media with left and right newspapers. The more creditable (generally) are called broadsheets - and while the Telegraph has moved further right and posted some of the extreme rhetoric of some of the crazies in the UK .... it's still a serious newspaper. Unlike for example - the Daily Mail which is a paper someone on these boards likes to quote, that's a tabloid trash paper that prints total nonsense endlessly every day.

I personally wouldn't put ANY faith in a poll from the UK in September. I think it's going to be close and anything could sway the outcome between now and then ... Kamala could easily put her foot in her mouth again. Trump could continue his spiral of self destruction as he tries to impersonate Biden's word salads.

However - while I love so many of my fellow dawgtalkers from every political spectrum whether they agree with me personally or not - it would be immensely funny to see those that troll so much on these boards eat some crow. Or to put it in a way that they themselves parrot endlessly - their tears of losing (again) would be so delicious.

Here's the thing, they won't eat crow. They'll rant about how unfair it is and how Trump had bigger crowds and how the Polls are run by "never Trumpers".... But to admit they were wrong, hell man, don't count on it.

Nah, you’re both wrong, they’ll be two wound up with the calls for civil war to actually be civil and take their L. And don’t think for a second there won’t be some fraud again this time around by the Trump campaign, they know they are getting their asses handed to them if they don’t rig the vote. All kinds of things going on at the local/state levels right now where they’re trying to tamper. And we all know some of the cuckoo locals will do dumb illegal stuff to help him. It is a cult, remember?

Where did he say that? I googled it and the first thing that came up when I hit “election interference” was “Germany accuses Elon Musk of election interference.”

Then I did “Biden Election interference” and still got nothing.

Then I did “Biden Election interference Washington Post” and still got nothing.

Biden Regrets Hiring Merrick Garland Because He Didn’t Prosecute Trump Enough: REPORT

President Joe Biden regrets tapping Merrick Garland to be attorney general as he privately complains the Department of Justice didn’t do enough t0 prosecute President-elect Donald Trump, people familiar with his comments told The Washington Post.

As Trump is preparing to enter the White House in less than a month, the criminal cases against him have dissolved. Special counsel Jack Smith’s two federal cases against the president-elect will not proceed, and at the state level, two cases are also likely to be dismissed. Biden, in private, has complained that Garland’s DOJ was too slow in its prosecutions of Trump and too aggressive in its prosecutions of his son, Hunter Biden, people familiar with his comments told WaPo.

President Biden Regrets Selecting Merrick Garland As Attorney General
Josh Blackman | 12.29.2024 1:30 AM

The Washington Post has an in depth profile of President Biden's administration. Apparently, Biden regrets selecting Merrick Garland as Attorney General, and would have preferred former Alabama Senator Doug Jones.

In private, Biden has also said he should have picked someone other than Merrick Garland as attorney general, complaining about the Justice Department's slowness under Garland in prosecuting Trump, and its aggressiveness in prosecuting Biden's son Hunter, according to people familiar with his comments.

During the 2020 presidential transition, Biden's attorney general selection pitted some of his closest aides against each other. Former senator Ted Kaufman (D-Delaware) and Mark Gitenstein, both longtime friends of Biden, advocated for the president naming then-Sen. Doug Jones (D-Alabama) as attorney general, arguing that as a politician he would be better able to navigate the bitterly partisan moment.

But Ron Klain, Biden's incoming chief of staff, pushed for Garland. He stressed that Garland — a federal judge with a sterling reputation for independence and fairness — would show Americans that Biden was rebuilding a department badly shaken by Trump's political attacks.

Biden was persuaded, and some Democrats believe the decision had devastating results. Had the Justice Department moved faster to prosecute Trump for allegedly seeking to overturn the 2020 election and mishandling classified documents, they say, the former president might have faced a politically damaging trial before the election. (Others blame the Supreme Court and a Trump-appointed judge in Florida for repeatedly siding with the former president and delaying the cases; the Justice Department declined to comment.)

This episode demonstrates that this notion of the Department of Justice as "independent" has always been a ruse. The Attorney General works for the President. Garland's efforts to make the institution separate from the President backfired, in a way that left no one happy. Moreover, Biden expressly viewed the criminal prosecution of Trump as a way to harm his primary political opponent. The stuff about protecting democracy was just a veneer, as evidenced by the silence about insurrection and fascism in the lead-up to January 6, 2025.

By the way, when is Garland going to resign? Garland should have stepped down when Biden criticized him for the Hunter Biden prosecution, but didn't. Attorney General Loretta Lynch stayed on until January 20, 2017. Will Garland continue to ride this out till the bitter end?

Thanks. I guess I’m not tech savvy.

Help me connect those dots, though. I see where Biden regrets and complains about Garland, but I can’t see where he interfered with the election.

I don’t see where regrets and complaints about an AG are tantamount to election interference.

As far as things like the classified documents at MAL go, do you really nothing criminal happened with all that? It seemed to be very prosecutable prima facie.

That case hits close to home for me. I was VERY pissed off when the news broke Hillary was using a NIPR server to send such emails. This equally had me fuming, if not more so.

Oh there's no dots standing in a line waiting to be strung. There's just the obvious, repeated, behind the scenes acknowledgment that the entire purpose of going after Trump was to win an election. I realize everybody is bored with it, but I'm just echoing what the tweet is saying -- it's definitely worthy of an investigation.

Well, that has been a common complaint of democrats since Biden was elected. Garland did nothing until the House issued its report about the election insurrection. 18 months probably is the difference between Trump in jail and being re-elected.

Nothing unusual if you think about it. Trump was behind the insurrection, and the documents case was just as bad.

We should probably stop giving them crap over their Trump support. They’ve been programmed and it’s obvious. And nothing we say or do, things old school civics taught us, or all the rude foot stomping, cheap shot taking, textual tongue-lashings in the world can’t break that programming to defend what they’ve been indoctrinated into. When you see grandchildren disowning grandparents because grandpa was radicalized by political far-right media… I thought it would be fun to see grandpa take that hit, but in reality it’s just sad. And I get angry when I think about all the families (relationships) that have been forever injured by our politics, for no damn reason other than distraction or to drive a political talking point. What the hell is wrong with us, I know we’re collectively smarter than this? Wake up, Murica. Please!

I'm annoyed that DoJ was a wuss in terms of going after Trump.

Did I interfere with the election?

Say it ain’t so Joe… For those that think Biden didn’t do a damn thing.. And it’s not partisan at all.

I stumbled across this channel (No Eve, it’s not more libtard talk) and their rural playlist has me seeing the real problem. It’s not Left vs. Right, it’s common peoples struggles and big money corps bringing the pain. This video is a bright spot and the type of thing we should be doing all over.

Then they have stories like these where everyday people get run over by big money interests.

Why medicine is so expensive:

Food costs are so high because:

Why housing is so high:

TAXES:

Glad I found this channel.

Meanwhile Goper’s will investigate them all and no doubt some sort of violent end will come from it.
