But what would he really need to improve do to fix an economy they claim is so broken? Just how much is left for trump to do?
At it's height, inflation which was global, reached 9% at it's highest point in a single month. The Biden administration has gotten that down to 2.4%. That's a decrease of 6.6%. That job is almost complete already. So much so that interest rates are already being lowered by the Fed. Twice now the last two times it came before the Fed. So what's left for trump to do there? Just not screw it up now? Sure the stock market has soared since he won the election but it was healthy and growing well before. Reduce unemployment numbers that have been hovering at near 50 year lows?
So what are these great accomplishments trump needs to deliver before he can convince his followers that he was the one to "fix" the economy? You know, the same economy that was rebounding so well before he was elected.

You've identified yet another obstacle you face. That's two in two days! Now just get to work on that. Nothing to say, but you gotta get your post count. Same it ever was.

Says the man who has been wracking up his post count like crazy doing the exact same thing he is accusing me of. I think the old saying "pot meet kettle" is appropriate here.

It's not my fault you're a late bloomer. You started much later but once you started you've been keeping pace. Congrats! Only you resort to the basement with more name calling. Maybe you consider that a positive. Considering the guy you keep making excuses for I'm guessing you think that trying to degrade others in some lame attempt to make you look better is a worthwhile tactic.

You started much later but once you started you've been keeping pace. Snoopes fact checking .... rated "probably not true" 🤣 I couldn't help it and it's only a small sampling - but if I look at your profile and then go to see your posts and go to Frankz to do the same ... and go back 5 pages to see what date is on the bottom of page 5 ... You have 5 pages of posts since 6th November Frankz has 5 pages of posts since 25th October You still out posting him handsomely (small sample size I know - but that's Snoopes for you).

I was simply trying to offer him encouragement. I mean he is trying so very hard. And now much like some others you make it sound like I'm the one who initially brought up post counts. I was not. Pay more attention next time..... Nothing to say, but you gotta get your post count. Same it ever was.

I know that trying so hard to compete but still ending up in second place must be hard on your ego. But hey, you're still doing better than the Browns so there's always that.

This from Russia’s intelligence chief: “The election campaign is over. To achieve success in the election, Donald Trump relied on certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations. As a responsible person, he will be obliged to fulfill them.“ That is a very pointed statement, in addition to the fact they have also posted topless pictures of the First Lady on their media as well. Trump’s response to actions so pointed will be very telling. https://www.yahoo.com/news/vladimir-putin-already-manipulating-trump-104500601.htmlEdit to add link

Yeah that pretty much explains it. I think that's how he won the first time around. I do think people are desperate for change in politicians and the Dems just cannot get that through their thick heads. What I do struggle with, though, is people thinking that we're going to get change for the better by going back to the guy who was willing to destroy everything in order for his own self benefit.

it still surprises me how socialist Alaska is a red state.

There are plenty of red states with a ton of constituents who reap socialist style benefits and keep voting red.

and whats crazy if they if they benefit, it's all good. but they want to benefit while simultaneously gate keep the benefits and vote for people trying to take it away from them.
but thats an education problem, because they really got it in their heads that it isnt socialism...well, at least what THEY receive isnt.

It's the whole "If I benefit, great, but if someone else does, then it's bad."
You know that I'm a fairly OG conservative person when it comes to fiscal policies, which I think actually departs heavily from where Republicans currently advocate. I do believe in a merit-based capitalistic setup with guard rails, where the Government plays referee, throwing flags on things like the use of child labor, off-shore accounts, etc.
It has gone so far off the rails, though, that we have seen a huge wealth gap generate, with the smallest of the small minority controlling politics. It's not capitalism when you don't allow big companies to fail for egregious malfeasance, and it's not capitalism to allow disproportionate political gains in favor of those with deep pockets.
Tying that back to our discussion, so much wealth is getting sucked up from the lower and middle classes into the small elite (and the data supports that quite well), that it creates a dilemma of keeping the constituents from becoming angry about it. That's when you have to create a villain to act as a lightning rod for discontent. It has gotten to the point where people will vote against their own self-interests because they are so desperate, angry and/or feel so threatened by what they perceive - often inaccurately - to be the core problem.

This is what I call the ten cookies story.
When you have a very select few having and controling nine of those ten cookies the goal is to get the masses who only have one cookie between them to blame each other for that and fight about that one cookie.
Thus far they've been very successful at accomplishing that goal.

Not so fast there Bubba,, Which party says they want to eliminate or modify entitlements? How many complaints from Republicans come up when talking about Medicaid? There are a ton of other social programs out there that Project 2025 is set up to kill. You can try to lessen the impact if you want, but at the end of the day, the Right will kill people just like they did with the Pandemic.

Tough lesson to say that a lot of white, brown and black men won’t vote for a woman….
Facts are facts, and maybe the Democrats will learn the lesson of 2 lost elections.

Kamala would have never made it through the primaries, we all knew that. But they also thought Joe Biden was at the end when the primaries were done.
All that momentum she gained, and so fast, brought out that group you mentioned. Dems like them stayed home. The media all thought she’d win. ALL.

IMHO the MSM is at times nothing more than political propaganda, especially evident this last election. They tried their best to manipulate us but it didn't work this time 'round.

And with your wild imagination you think that only applies to to what you call the MSM? And we just witnessed the right wing media try to claim an American citizen and former military man that committed the atrocity in New Orleans was somehow tied to illegal immigration.

i do feel bad for Biden, not gonna lie. from his perspective, i get why he's ticked at everyone in the party. They forced him to resign, put up a VP that couldnt even place high in the primaries, and then after all that, she lost. anybody would naturally feel like "man i shouldve stayed in. if i lose, oh well".
Woof made a good point as well about minority groups not turning up for a woman candidate. there's a lot of different perspectives that are true simultaneously. so i understand Joe biden not being friendly with pelosi and them. Cause we dont actually know if Biden would've lost, especially since we do know that he beat Trump the first time.
What we do know is that any woman - republican or democrat - has to have Obama level energy and aura to have any shot at being POTUS in this country. Cause men not voting for women in high leadership positions goes well beyond political ideologies.

I have no sympathy for Biden or anyone in his ineer/closest circle.
For the benefit of the country Biden should never ever been allowed to run for a second term - and he is a selfish SOB for insisting that he do so. Anyone around him who didn't confront him with reality when he was musing this is an idiot. Period. There is no other perspective that I can figure is warranted. Biden was not fit to run a second term. You can debate at what point it all truly fell off a cliff - but anyone with an ounce of neutrality could see a 2nd term was beyond him. And as it turns out a second campaign was wayyyy beyond him. He and his croonies should look in the mirror and feel deep shame as far as I am concerned.

In politics you can't show weakness or mistakes. They tried to cover both until it was patently obvious how bad it really was.
