None of the rioters prosecuted in 2020 were pardoned but those on January 6th were all pardoned. Everyone that was tried, convicted and sentenced in the summer of 2020 served their sentences according to the law while those who rioted on Jan. 6 were pardoned and did not.

I agree. I think we have to stick to measuring the policies implemented and their effects on what the current situation is. No matter what the facts are when you take results vs promises, there will always be people (DotD) who will be manipulated into thinking that the guy(s) walk on water, just like you will see other people will cry fascism just for the way Trump gets out of bed in the morning.
I do hope, at the end of the day, paying attention to the substance of the results will be enough to intelligently inform voters who fall within the realm of at least "somewhat objective." The problem now, though, is that social media algorithms directly combat that notion and keep people from going "Let's see how it's going" to "RAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHH!!!!!"

I would also add one thing to your post. Your post is akin to mine. I think we have to start by taking objective facts and results and marrying those against campaign promises and goals. We have to have those discussions with people who are actually still willing to listen and ignore those who just pee in the wind. When goals are met, those have to be acknowledged, but when they are not, we have to advocate our cases for change.

This where I'm at. I'm not losing my mind nor is anyone living rent free in my mind. It neither drains my energy nor was I exhausted at the end of his last term.
