We will find out this week who will be going to the Superbowl. For anyone interested in making picks on those games here is the upcoming schedule......

NFC Championship game

(6) Washington Commanders at (2) Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday, 3 p.m. ET on Fox

AFC Championship game.

(2) Buffalo Bills at (1) Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS

Unlike the prior two weeks I'll be waiting a little closer to game time to be making my predictions. The injury reports will loom large.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Hoping for Bills Washington. What a wonderful pike in the eye to Snyder. I could even get behind them to win it all.

I'm already behind rooting for Washington to win it all. I'm just not sure I can pick them to win it all..... yet.

WC, KC… I think that’s how it will go, and even though I wanted KC to 3 peat after the Browns fell off the radar, I hope the kid in washington takes it all. This year, he was the best player in the league.

Chiefs
Commanders

A Mahomes vs Daniels Super Bowl would make for a compelling story.

Washington at +6.5 is kind of wild. Still not getting any respect after thumping Detroit and with relatively mild weather forecasted in Philly.

I predicted Washington would beat Detroit but the biggest reason why they won is because of Detroit’s turnovers. But as we all know that’s an important part of the game and the Lions failed miserably.I think it will be Philly and KC but I’d like to see the Bills and Commanders. I like all 4 teams so I won’t mind seeing any combo. Just getting a little sick of KC.

I feel I have to go with the Eagles over Washington. That's not what I hope will happen. Washington and Jayden Daniels would make for one of the greatest Cinderella stories of all time. But alas I feel the Eagles are simply too powerful for them to overcome.

The Chiefs are a very complete team as per usual. But Mahommes doesn't have the weapons he once had in the past. That didn't stop them from winning the SB last year but I feel they have met their match in the Bills.

It's hard to pick against a team like the Chiefs who always seem to find a way to win. That's what great teams do.

My picks are Eagles, Bills.

Just remember .... our 3rd rounder from the Bills is better if they lose. wink

Go Refs!

Andy Reid has to be one of the best players callers there is. Dude always calls plays to win instead of puckering up like most play callers do.

Buffalo needs to be able to make short yardage plays. 2 missed 2 point conversion.

We got rid of one dynasty and replaced it with the another. I'm sick of the Chiefs already. Might not bother watching the super bowl.

Eagles Chiefs.. 🤮 What a boring Super Bowl matchup. When the playoffs started there were only two teams I hoped wouldn’t make it…. <sigh>. Actually that’s a lie, the only teams that weren’t division rivals. So there is that bright side.

I like Barkley so that’s about the only reason I have to watch. But what a snooze fest match up. It’ll probably be a good game against two teams where I wish somehow both would lose.

I was pulling for the Bills in a big way.

Sorry that they lost. Really good team and I am a big fan of Allen.

They cannot beat KC and Mahomes because the Chiefs are the better team. They know how to win.

Nothing that the Bills did wrong really. KC was a little better.

Buffalo our close neighbors are probably ready to commit harikari.

I am setting my SB plans up now. Might be the Taylor Swift Bowl instead. I will pull for the Iggles because I am worn out with Mahomes commercials. One thing I have decided to miss, and wife-person agrees, is halftime. The talking heads add nothing for us, and the lame on-field spots take away from the game experience for us. I will be glad to put this train wreck of a season down. Seems like things are being put in place for more of the same next year. Happy snacks, y'all! Pace yourselves!

I hate this Super Bowl. Philly fans are beyond obnoxious. However, I hate KC even more.

As per usual the cream rises to the top. I picked against KC and for the life of me still can't figure out why. They have won so many one score games this season it's crazy. That's the mark of greatness. They simply know how to do what great teams do when things get down to the wire. Win.

I can't hate them for that.

I think KC has a little more talent than Buffalo. If you put Allen on KC I believe they would still win. JMO

I can't really say for sure. I can say that I've seen Mahommes pull out what looks like miraculous plays over his career many, many times that has helped this team get to where they are right now. I have seen other QB's pull some rabbits out of their hats as well but nothing that has compared to Mahommes.

So much so that we see other NFL QB's try to emulate the very things Mahommes has done. There's no doubt that Allen too is a very good QB. But I'm not so sure these two parts are interchangeable.

I’ll be rooting for a healthy serving of Swift. And no, I couldn’t tell you anything about her music, nor do I think she’s that great looking… but something about her being featured just makes me smile.

I think it likely will be a good game. I’ve never disliked the Eagles and I don’t want KC to win again, even if it would be a historical three-peat.

I think Buffalo got ref-jobbed against the Chiefs.

I think the Chiefs have had a huge disadvantage all along. While Eagles players have 24/7 to dedicate to football the stars on the Chiefs and even their HC have to work their second jobs at State Farm insurance. It's just not fair!
