And the funny part about all this is after 4 years of chaos and everyone is finally done with Trump, they're going to have some loser like Newsome take the nomination so that we get to choose between him and Vance.

If it's Newsome, he'll lose. That means they clearly didn't get the message. At this point, though, it doesn't appear like they're going to get the message.
I was joking around with someone in my office who claimed the Dems should just go ahead and put forth their own demagogic candidate. Just have someone go out there and say a whole bunch of empty promises like "Everyone will own a house, and the billionaires will pay for it" whether or not that actually happens.

I don't think the problem is so much they couldn't care less about the average people but they're certainly out of touch with them. I mean if you look at it, it's the dems that want to expand healthcare, raise wages, negotiate the price for prescription drugs and protect Social Security, medicare and medicaid. So I think in terms of many issues it's average Americans they're out to help.
The problem being they're so focused on catering to the far left fringe that message isn't getting out. That and the economy has been so bad that many voters voted strictly with their wallets. So many voters in this country are ill informed or not informed at all. Many don't even bother to watch the news. They just know what is happening in their life and homes. They don't know why it's happening, just that it is and they know who the president is. So they feel if they vote for the other party they're voting to change it.
When you're trying to pay your bills and feed your family that is the main objective in your life. You know you're playing hell trying to do that and something needs to change.
Most of them had no idea that this was happening on a global scale. That no matter who was in charge we would have suffered through the same inflation the rest of the globe did. They didn't know that 175 nations around the globe suffered that same inflation and that we actually recovered quicker than almost any other nation.
Not only didn't they know it, the dems did a terrible job delivering that message.

People were screaming loudly about things they care about (prices/inflation and immigration). Not only did Democrats run the same people (Biden and then Harris) that have their names attached to the issue (even if it's somewhat unfairly attached), but those same people double-down on the policies that didn't work and/or citizens didn't like, and basically tried to tell voters what other issues were more important.

I don't actually disagree with you. Not only was running Biden/Harris a huge mistake, they didn't seem to focus on the issues people cared about the most or how they would make changes to address it. It is the dems themselves to blame for losing the 2024 election. Once again I point to the issues they champion that clearly shows they care. They're just terrible at politics.

Talk about rigging an election. Using Jim Crow style laws to let anybody challenge the validity of American voters days before an election. Those purged were 900% more likely to be black than White, and many were US military personnel stationed elsewhere. Trump once again projected his BS as he stole the election. Actually I believe Trump won because young voters notoriously in history haven’t shown up on voting day, with the exception of Kennedy, Clinton, and Obama. And a high percentage of American voters just aren’t ready for a female prez.

Well it’s worth the watch, they have the numbers and facts. Hell, they even interview some of the Republican scum who did it. They downloaded prepared spreadsheats of who should be challenged attached a cover letter challenging them based on saying I don’t believe they qualify or live there… The voters effected were not able to vote, and the few that showed up to clear it up got handed provisional ballots that later got tossed. I’d call that proof. And 3.5 million minority/young votes later, Trump prevailed. It’s literally the smoking gun as to why she lost. This is why they killed voting rights.
