It’s all part of flood the zone, create chaos, pain, and misery. Keep them in-fighting and they will never notice that we doubled the national debt to enrich ourselves and the investment class. They’ve taken so much tax payer money and now they are using that same money as a weapon to drive up prices on goods people need to live. Houses, food, clothes, medicine, transportation, energy, and entertainment. <- With these things, most are content, and rarely spend on luxury items. So when the time comes to bleed us dry these become target assets for the elite. They WANT IT ALL. Their greed knows no bounds.

I challenge anyone who doesn’t believe this to give me a viable alternative explanation for what we are seeing. Remove the hate of immigrants, Rs, and Ds… all that is left is the only group not being targeted. The only group doing better regardless of economic ups and downs. The only group completely focused on maintaining the status quo. And the only group with literally no chance of taking the hits, unless we rise up and say enough is enough. The American people need to unite and demand economic inequality be addressed. Address it peacefully and thoughtfully treating every American fairly and you still get to be elite. Make us come for you, and you will no longer be elite, maybe simply no longer be anything but part of the past and the cemetery. They need to know violence is on the table. We all saw the response to Luiggi when he took out a top underling of theirs. They crapped their pants for a week or two. It’s the only thing that makes them flinch. Their kids won’t be going to war zones. Their kids won’t be in the trenches if we allow this to devolve into civil war, brother against brother. But when you put taking them out, all the way out, on the table, tunes will change. There is no army or security that can protect them, and they know it.

Their real list we need to see is who gets a space in the dooms day bunkers. That’s the list screwing evberybody.

Trump's approval rating slips as Americans worry about the economy. While Trump fails to end the two wars he promised to end on day one. Promises promises. Pffft trump

Something has occurred to me. trump and his lackeys have plants at their press conferences. There always seems to be one reporter who gushes over trump and then gives them a softball question that can include Biden in the answer. Gotta keep that propaganda machine rolling!

First, Trump was president for four years. he should know exactly what is there and not there. Second, doing a live on it is the dumbest crap I’ve ever heard. Yes, let’s give every criminal in the world some video to study. If you put Trump’s brain inside a gnat’s ass it would rattle like a BB in a box car.

We all just need to look through the smoke and mirrors and prep ourselves for when it goes sideways. because it will

The only other option is that some members actually stand up for the people that elected them-

Also, did anyone happen to see the town hall in Georgia for a Rep McCormick (R)-it was overflowing and had way more pushback than they were expecting-I guess "we the people" would be the other option

wait, since when has auditing Ft. Knox been a major issue?

The Fort Knox Enigma

The Fort Knox Bullion Depository, officially established in 1936, has been a symbol of financial security for nearly a century. It’s said to hold around 147 million troy ounces of gold—worth an estimated $425 billion today. Yet, for decades, conspiracy theories have swirled about what’s actually inside those vaults.

Musk Fuels Speculation

Musk, who was travelling with the President, had already spent days posting about Fort Knox on his social media platform, X.

“Who is confirming that gold wasn’t stolen from Fort Knox?” Musk asked his millions of followers. “Maybe it’s there, maybe it’s not.”

https://economictimes.indiatimes.co...rried/articleshow/118405044.cms?from=mdr

As one would expect, Musk is piloting the plane.

Must not criticize the POTUS… Otay dear leader. lmfao. I guess they never heard of GenX.

All I know is that he better get inflation under control and do something about housing fast because he’s bleeding followers by droves every day. And if he can’y maintain power, he and Elon will be doing some time in a barred resort.

Actually Gen Z and Gen X exhibit significantly lower rates of registration.

We find that:

In 2020 Gen X, Baby Boomers and the Greatest generation had nearly 20%, 29% and 31% greater percentage points in their respective rates of voter registration than Millennials.

In 2016 and 2020, Gen Z had the lowest rates of voter registration for any generational cohort.

Up until 2012, Gen X voter registration rates had near parity with Baby Boomers but a gap has grown over recent years, with Gen X experiencing declining voter registration rates until 2016 and a slight rebound in the most recent election cycles.

https://youngamericans.berkeley.edu/2024/04/voter-registration-rates-by-generation/

I find that quite sad.

Wasn’t talking registration, was talking FTW, when it comes to not criticizing Trump. Do try to keep up, boomer. And that drop in rates has a little to do with we are dying faster. Boomers had it the best and refuse to let go. That’s why congress looks like a geriatric ward.

No that’s not it and yes we are close in age, but I’m GenX by a year, and the older than you boomers are still holding onto power instead of handing it off. They are the ME ME ME generation in that regard. I honestly don’t care if GenX never holds the oval. Would rather see a young potus.

Fourth federal judge blocks Trump’s birthright citizenship order

BOSTON (AP) — A federal judge in Boston on Thursday blocked an executive order from President Donald Trump that would end birthright citizenship for the children of parents who are in the U.S. illegally, becoming the fourth judge to do so.

The ruling from U.S. District Judge Leo Sorokin came three days after U.S. District Judge Joseph Laplante in New Hampshire blocked the executive order and follows similar rulings in Seattle and Maryland.

Sorokin said in a 31-page ruling that the “Constitution confers birthright citizenship broadly, including to persons within the categories described” in the president’s executive order.

The Boston case was filed by the Democratic attorneys general of 18 states and is one of at least 10 lawsuits challenging the birthright citizenship order.

“President Trump may believe that he is above the law, but today’s preliminary injunction sends a clear message: He is not a king, and he cannot rewrite the Constitution with the stroke of a pen,” the attorneys general said in a statement.

In the case filed by four states in Seattle, U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour said the Trump administration was attempting to ignore the Constitution, with the president trying to change it with an executive order.

A federal judge in Maryland issued a nationwide pause on the order in a separate but similar case involving immigrants rights groups and pregnant women whose soon-to-be-born children could be affected. The Trump administration said Tuesday that it would appeal that ruling to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

In the Boston case, the attorneys general from 18 states, along with the cities of San Francisco and Washington, D.C., asked Sorokin to issue a preliminary injunction. That means the injunction will likely remain in place while the lawsuit plays out.

They argue that the principle of birthright citizenship is “enshrined in the Constitution,” and that Trump does not have the authority to issue the order, which they called a “flagrantly unlawful attempt to strip hundreds of thousands of American-born children of their citizenship based on their parentage.”

They also argue that Trump’s order would cost states funding they rely on to “provide essential services” — from foster care to health care for low-income children, to “early interventions for infants, toddlers, and students with disabilities.”

One of the newest lawsuits was filed Thursday in the Southern District of New York, brought by the New York Immigration Coalition and a 31-year-old pregnant Venezuelan national who has a pending petition for asylum. They say the ban discriminates against people based on their national origin and alien status, and that it will render the woman’s child “a stateless nomad without a home country.”

At the heart of the lawsuits is the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in 1868 after the Civil War and the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision. That decision found that Scott, an enslaved man, wasn’t a citizen despite having lived in a state where slavery was outlawed.

The Trump administration has asserted that children of noncitizens are not “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States and therefore not entitled to citizenship.

Attorneys for the states argue that it does and that it has been recognized since the amendment’s adoption, notably in an 1898 U.S. Supreme Court decision. That decision, United States v. Wong Kim Ark, held that the only children who did not automatically receive U.S. citizenship upon being born on U.S. soil were the children of diplomats, who have allegiance to another government; enemies present in the U.S. during hostile occupation; those born on foreign ships; and those born to members of sovereign Native American tribes.

The U.S. is among about 30 countries where birthright citizenship — the principle of jus soli or “right of the soil” — is applied. Most are in the Americas, and Canada and Mexico are among them.

Sorokin’s order applies to another similar case brought in Boston as well by Lawyers for Civil Rights on behalf of expectant mothers whose children would be affected by the president’s executive order.

Amazing! There are still courts that believe the constitution means more than the commands of king trump!

The President is keeping the promises he made.

When a politician keeps the promises made, some people get ticked off. Oh well.

When the lights come on, the rats and roaches run in a panic.

We just disagree. Think of it as sitting around the Thanksgiving table, I think of you as some sort of cousin or nephew who I think of as a boob, and I am some sort of uncle or cousin you think is a boob.

It's best for all to just sit there and make the best of it. In the end, family wins out and I will stick up for family even if I think they are silly fools.

We are a lot alike, Bubba. Maybe opposite ends, but a lot alike.

Trump fires the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. For what??? Gotta love it when a decorated general is fired and you’re left with a reservist Major/talk show host/drunk in charge of our military.

Hegseth has also flip flopped so many times on the direction he’s given and accomplishing RIFs.

It’s a nightmare of incompetence.

I’m pretty sure what most of your family thinks of your political views. Probably why you spend a lot of your time here defending the deplorable actions of Trump. Because they’re tired of hearing them.

This may help answer your question. During the George Floyd aftermath he supported BLM. Hegseth never forgot. He questioned if Brown was a DEI hire despite all of his qualifications and replaced him with someone less qualified....

Quote
Caine’s military service includes combat roles in Iraq, special operations postings, and positions inside some of the Pentagon’s most classified special access programs.

However, he has not had key assignments identified in law as prerequisites for the job, including serving as either the vice chairman, as a combatant commander, or a service chief. That requirement could be waived if the “president determines such action is necessary in the national interest.”

Hegseth comments on Brown from November...

Quote
Hegseth had previously aimed at Brown. “First of all, you gotta fire, you know, you gotta fire the chairman of Joint Chiefs,” he said flatly in a podcast in November. And in one of his books, he questioned whether Brown got the job because he was Black.

“Was it because of his skin color? Or his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt — which on its face seems unfair to CQ. But since he has made the race card one of his biggest calling cards, it doesn’t really much matter,” Hegseth wrote.

https://news3lv.com/news/nation-wor...-of-staff-defense-secretary-pete-hegseth

That damned DEI! We gotta get rid of the black guy and the woman first!
