Don't know if I can make it any clearer.. Shutting down the government is a the worse of two bad choices.. I don't blame them one bit. Over the last number of years, the same situation existed for the Republicans.. they could have caused a shutdown.. They didn't either.. They know as do Dems, that shutting down is idiotic.

Don’t you think it had to do with Americans reading about American vets living on the street, turning the page and read about illegals being put up in nice hotels. That we were spending enough on illegals each year to buy a home for each homeless vet. You don’t think that made patriotic Americans blood boil and turn them against the dems.

And then, the coup de gras. The debate and America got to see that their president was seriously cognitively impaired. That democratic pols had been lying about his mental state. Americans saw they could not believe them. It also helped Americans realize that members of the media had been lying as well. Probably why the lame stream media is rated down with used car Salesmen.
