Yo. While you and yours are egging on all the domestic terrorism -- burning down dealerships; blowing up cars; spray painting swastikas; you know, mostly peaceful protests -- you may want to keep your head on a swivel with some of the craziness. Not sure if you got rid of your Tesla, but it's about that time now that you're on a hit-list. And don't forget to inform the powers-that-be with proof that you sold it so they can remove your name and address. I suspect you already have, since we have a much bigger fight than climate change now, ie, preventing the prevention of government fraud. Stay safe out there, especially since you have to drive all the way to work now. Yep......that's what I'm doing. People - including very Conservative people - are pissed at Elon, for very good reason. Nobody here is egging on domestic terrorism. That last line was just a petty personal remark. Honestly, you've gone off the deep end now with the rest of them.

Biden turned down Elon when Elon offered to rescue them. Well that never happened but dont let facts get in the way. Hannity probably said it. She has never cared about the facts. It came straight from the astronauts mouth.

lol Yep. I've gone off the deep end again. That's been your response to our last five or ten interactions. You learned it from your buddy up the street when he started calling me Alex Jones every time he didn't have the balls to argue facts.
Meanwhile, on the shallow end of the pool, you sound more and more like Pit with every post, calling names, insulting every opposing view. Keep up the great work, we need people like you, with an actual shred of intellect, to keep handing us votes by the millions. The crazier you sound, the more we cement '26 and '28. Thanks!
BTW, your entire party is egging on domestic terrorism. And not a soul here (at least on the loonie-left) has done anything but laugh at it.

So you think an astronaut knows about the conversation between Musk and Biden? Do you have a link to show what you're saying is true or are you just going to post something and expect to give no evidence of fact..... again? That's the same thing trump does. NASA astronaut Sunita Williams says "we don't feel abandoned" or "stuck" as space mission stretches on https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nasa-astronauts-suni-williams-space-interview/In a news conference from the space station on March 4 with Williams, Wilmore and NASA’s Nick Hague — one of the two astronauts who arrived via a SpaceX capsule in September — Wilmore said he had no reason to doubt Musk’s claims about an offer to bring them home earlier, though Wilmore said he was not privy to such an offer. “We have no information on that though, whatsoever,” Wilmore said. “That’s information that we simply don’t have. So I believe him, I don’t know all those details, and I don’t think any of us really can give you the answer that maybe that you would be hoping for.” Asked about the claims of political motivations for their extended stay, Wilmore said that Musk and Trump may have information “that we are not privy to.” But, he said, “from my standpoint, politics is not playing into this at all. From our standpoint, I think that they would agree, we came up prepared to stay long, even though we plan to stay short.” https://www.factcheck.org/2025/03/the-facts-behind-the-delayed-return-of-u-s-astronauts/

He doesn't know either. He is just throwing out crap. And here is where that crap comes from............ Attacks against Tesla property considered 'domestic terrorism,' says AG Pam Bondi https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...c-terrorism-pam-bondi-trump/82540722007/According to people like him those who stormed the capital weren't domestic terrorists but attacks on Tesla dealerships are. That's one deep azz rabbit hole to climb down into. But by now we should all know what to expect after they get their marching orders.

So you're going with the 'domestic terrorism' line... which came from the same admin that pardoned all the Jan6 people.
I'll argue facts, just not alternative facts. I'm glad you're back posting, but if you look back through the threads recently, the MAGAs on here are posting a whole bunch of the latter, and little to none of the former.
As for the damage to Teslas and dealerships, I hope all of them are prosecuted for the property damage... but again, trying to call that domestic terrorism after pardoning the Jan6 crowd is laughable.

And we’ll see who cements what in 26 and 28… meanwhile, we on the left will fight for your right to survive. While you whine about us doing it. Otherwise, you’d already be in a brown shirt in the streets sorting the others… Or is that wht you really would prefer and just don’t have the stones to say it?

bro, what did you expect?
This clown has fired so many people who do important jobs across our country, throws up Nazi salutes, and is calling SS a ponzi scheme. You know damn well you saw this response coming. You seen them angry ass vets in the townhalls? nevermind the townhalls overall, but the vets, who only need a reason to let out some pint up frustration?

When and if crimes are committed in connection with protests, they must be charged as crimes. You can’t ban the protesting. Why is this small detail such an insurmountable fact for the far right? Look at all the butthurt liberals having tantrums because they lost and arent getting their way. Destroying property and committing arson are crimes that are punishable within their own laws. Nobody died, in the case of the Tesla dealership stuff. You want to round those people up and charge them for those crimes, I'm right there with you. Labeling them domestic terrorists opens up punishments that far exceed what's normal for property destruction. People have been killed and the perpetrator wasn't given this label. There is clear and obvious hypocrisy and corruption involved.

Important jobs? First, Elon hasn't fired anybody, Trump has fired 25,000. almost all probationary employees hired for less than a year. Those are facts, despite what may be on MSNBC.
3.6 million people work for the federal government. I would bet everything I own that every person on this board has declared that the federal government is waaay too fat at one time or another. Now it's "look at these poor people getting fired!"
All I remember is nationwide applause as Clinton systematically eliminated 425,000 jobs. The news showed them walking out of offices en masse with boxes in their hands, and to a man, America declared, "they'll just have to find something else". And that was 36 trillion dollars ago.
The same was said when Biden fired over 21,000 pipeline workers on day one. Deliberately punishing livelihoods for political reasons -- you all applauded. Bet your azz a bunch were vets. They joined the unemployed vets fired from all across the country because they wouldn't get a COVID jab. Nearly 10,000 were directly expelled from the military -- you all applauded.
So yes, along the way, some vets will lose jobs. I guess we could psycho-analyze this for years on end and maybe make vets off limits. Then what? Single mothers? Minorities? The bottom line, and I think you know it, is that a scalpel will not work. The corruption at the federal level is a cancer, not a skin-tag. There's going to be some pain. Our huge national debt is a much bigger problem than federal workers finding new jobs, many after months of paid administrative leave, severance packages and buyouts. I'd also bet my last dollar that 95% of those on this board would have cried tears of joy if that was an option at one time or another in their life.
I hope you don't want me to dignify "Nazi salutes", I won't. BTW, Social Security is the dictionary definition of a Ponzi scheme. People all across the country scream what you said out loud as a battle-cry as if it means he said it should be ended. He said the corruption within should be ended. He said the fraud at the recipient level should be ended. I'm quite sure you're not down with tens of thousands over the age of 120 still cashing checks?
Our nation is now 36 trillion in debt. I'll whisper like Biden if it helps... "psssst, it's unsustainable". It's a threat to interest rates, a threat to business investment, a threat to economic opportunities for Americans, a threat to confidence in the dollar. It creates reduced business investment, slower economic growth and increased interest rates. It's a threat to young Americans whom will be saddled with the consequences for generations. It equates to over a quarter million per household. Ever wonder the good that could be done with 1 TRILLION DOLLARS per year? That's the interest payment. We're jumping off the front porch and heading straight toward inevitable collapse. You can laugh if you want, call me names (you won't, others will) but these are facts. They're easy to ignore when we can assume we can delay it for a couple generations... but we're at the precipice... and it's decision time.

He didn't throw up a Nazi salute. All sorts of politicians have raised one arm. Don't buy that crap. SS is a Ponzi scheme. If it was run properly, it might not be, but the fact is that it is going broke because us Boomers are starting to collect and there aren't enough paying in enough to pay us. That is a Ponzi. Had the money we paid in gone in to an actual trust of some sort, then it wouldn't be. The problem is the government used that money as cash flow to fund any number of other things. The same as Madoff. As long as new investors came in, he could pay off those who were cashing out. It was gravy train for the guy. But, when new investor money wasn't exceeding that of those cashing out he couldn't pay his bills or pay the people who wanted to cash out. The house of cards fell. Forgive the old racist leaning saying but it became like...."Ching Chong Chinaman, sitting on the fence, trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents". The only difference is the government can print more monopoly money, charge you more in taxes and extend the age at which you can collect "your" money. We may not see eye to eye on all political matters, but I think we do talk the same language when it comes to investing and money. You're a good egg, Swish.

He didn't throw up a Nazi salute. All sorts of politicians have raised one arm. Don't buy that crap. Oh he absolutely threw what looked like a Roman Salute. It wasn't raising a hand - he thumped his chest right before he threw it. TWICE. After he did the roman salute he then said - almost like he forot he was supposed to also say it - something about his heart goes out to them. You can decide for yourself what it means to you. I don't think he is a Nazi. I think it was deliberate and it was trolling - batining the media and looking for the exact reaction he got. But to say he didn't do what he did is just not in the realm of reality.

The problem is you have bought into Trump’s Trojan horse concept. Name a legitimate problem, but don’t actually solve said problem, effectively at least. The way Clinton went about reducing the federal government was a lot different. It had a coordinated approach with Congress. It was the proverbial scalpel bs the hatchet. A lot of what Elon has spurred in cutting - and yes, it’s Elon - has red flags galore. A lot of it has been walked back, a lot of it has been overturned, and a lot of it has been outright lies. If you check the FPDS entries on the money DOGE has saved from contracts, you can objectively draw the conclusion that it’s woefully inaccurate at best and outright lies at worst.
The other issue is that you could cut every single federal employee and still barely even make a dent. This is the equivalent of having cancer and taking Advil. Musk owns an international megaphone and is all too happy to proclaim things he thinks will grab headlines, hoping that his followers will seize on and believe it, regardless of the inaccuracies. And there are a lot of inaccuracies. He admits to them. However, it’s still effective from a propaganda standpoint. He gets parroted by plenty on this board for one, as soon as he says something. The cat is out of the bag before he tries to walk everything back.
The fixture on federal employees is to draw public attention toward a sector of the government that is more defenseless. We don’t put money into politics. Elon puts hundreds of millions in, and now has incredibly outsized swag to the point he had the President of the United States doing car commercials for him at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. From the inauguration through Musk’s own involvement in the administration, through all the various cabinet members and whatnot who are billionaires, it seems obvious to me that if we are going to try and make the debt/deficit right, they too should have tk make some sacrifices, not consolidate their power over the Government.
I’ll go back to Defense as it’s my area if expertise. The talk show host already came out and said “We will protect our industry” in the face of DoD cuts. Nothing said about rampant waste, fraud or abuse done by them. Only on the part of the Government. Transdigm is still out there BLATANTLY gouging the tax payers and so is Boeing and the other Big 5. Imagine getting that $20B of money Lockheed and Raytheon just recently spent buying back their own stock to the tax payers. Nothing has been said about that.
That is one of my biggest areas of frustration. I have mentioned real time solutions many of which are simple. I feel like I scream them into the void. Because, are we taking common sense, effective approaches? No. To borrow your analogy once again, it’s like watching doctors treat cancer by blood letting, talking about how great it is and then watching the rest of the public go “Wow, great job!”
Sure, it has personal reasons, too. Living with volatility. Watching friends of mine get told they’re being laid off because they happen to work remotely, one of which has been invaluable because he works close to a major defense contractor. Watching an entire room of 20something year olds have to leave training because someone pops in and tells them they need to await RIF guidance. All while watching the fat cats I negotiate against point their finger, laugh and say “Sucks to be you” and also see posters on this bird do the same. It hurts. It really does.
That being said, if the RIF came with a sense of coordination, equity and rationality, I wouldn’t throw such a fuss about it.

Just curious if you have any thoughts on this.................. President Donald Trump announced Friday that Boeing will build the Air Force's future F-47 fighter jet, which the Pentagon says will have stealth and penetration capabilities that would be essential in a potential conflict with China. https://apnews.com/article/fighter-jet-ngad-trump-hegseth-china-55d7b3d15e5a4fa9cb061ec85ac19ae2I wonder how many government employees would have to be fired to pay for this?

Formerly known as NGAD. If it’s anything like the F-35, it could be quite costly. I hope we have a top brass/admin/Congress who is ready to hold Boeing’s feet to the fire on actually providing what they promised, at the cost they promise(d). Recent history says we will let the foxes run the hen house.

Sure. I know people who already work the program. I don’t know much about it, obviously, but we’ll just have to see how it plays out over time.
Also just reread my prior long post. Gotta love the morning typos doing posts from my phone…

With Trump commissioning it, I wonder if it will be gold? I wonder if it will actually fly or just lie about being able to fly? I wonder if it will be DEI engineered or if just MAGA numbskulls will be developing it? I’m surprised it’s not the f4547… anything to stroke the big dumbasses’ ego. Our Allies won’t be buying any.

Musk on Pentagon leakers: ‘They will be found’ Tech billionaire and President Trump’s close adviser Elon Musk said the individuals who are leaking “maliciously false information” to news outlets will be “found” and prosecuted. Musk, whose companies have contracts with the Defense Department (DOD), issued a warning Friday morning after The New York Times reported the SpaceX executive was set to be briefed on U.S. military’s secret plans if a war with China were to take place. “The New York Times is pure propaganda. Also, I look forward to the prosecutions of those at the Pentagon who are leaking maliciously false information to NYT. They will be found,” Musk wrote Friday morning on X, the social platform he owns. Trump also pushed back on the Times’s reporting, hammering the outlet as “one of the worst and most purposely inaccurate newspapers anywhere in the World.” “Their FAKE concept for this story is that because Elon does some business in China, that he is very conflicted and would immediately go to top Chinese officials and ‘spill the beans,’” Trump wrote Friday morning on his social platform, Truth Social. The Wall Street Journal published a similar article hours later. Later Friday, Trump said his administration would not share details of the DOD’s plans for a potential conflict with China with Musk, pointing to the billionaire’s business dealings that, in part, warrant caution. “I don’t want to show it to anybody. You’re talking about a potential war with China,” Trump told journalists in the Oval Office on Friday. “I don’t want anybody seeing potential war with China. But I can tell you if we did, we’re very well-equipped to handle it.” “You know, Elon has businesses in China, and he would be susceptible perhaps to that,” the president later said. Musk was at the Pentagon on Friday where he met with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The Defense secretary said the meeting was to discuss cost-cutting initiatives and innovation. Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has spearheaded the administration’s efforts to cut cost and reduce waste, efforts that have led to firings of thousands of federal government employees. “Elon Musk provides a lot of capabilities our government and our military rely on, and I’m grateful for that,” Hegseth said Friday. “We welcomed him today to the Pentagon to talk about DOGE, to talk about efficiencies, to talk about innovations. It was a great informal conversation.” https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5208103-musk-trump-pentagon-leakers-news-outlets/Musk is now threatening people at the Pentagon. I thought trump said he wasn't even a government employee? Another case of power gone mad. It's amazing how much power you can buy from trump for 280 million dollars.
