Pork Chopz no longer able to leech off #4 so he's turning his attention to Hunter.

IF we trade down, how far are people willing to go? Assuming fair value
Who would you be looking at taking if we drop down? If the Giants want to come up, sure. Otherwise, I'm probably out unless it's something ridiculous. I want Hunter or Carter. I don't think "fair value" by the chart is fair value this draft.

Anything but that stupid f-in elf. DT needs a 'dislike' button. :-p Just use the brownie smily ...I'm in the dislike the elf camp. It's a football team, not a LARPing club.

I don't think "fair value" by the chart is fair value this draft. I'm completely out on trading down. Take Hunter. Do not overthink it. Move on to Pick #33.

Bleh. Not really surprising, though, seeing the look on Tomlin's face at Milroe's pro day.

Unsurprisingly, looks like Cam Ward to the Titans is "official."

I'm starting to wonder if the links to Sanders, then Carter, and now Hunter is all just a smoke screen to get someone to trade up to 2 and we slide back a few spots and take Jeanty the RB from Boise St., we currently only have Ford and Strong as the RBs on our roster. RB and TE are 2 of the positions we need help at that we haven't signed a FA or at least a Street Free Agent. If we're going back to the KS-style offense, going into the season with Ford as RB1 is (arguably) worse than going in with Pickett as starter QB. I don't think it is all that arguable. I think it is. First, I don't think Pickett is as bad as some think. I think this O will help him, assuming he is the starter. A solid running game helps any QB, especially one who probably isn't going to carry many games on his back. I am not going to speculate on any trade backs or anything like that, but we have to draft at least 1 back fairly high and I would even draft another a little later just to make sure we have some young, fresh talented backs. I'll let camp and the coach determine where on the depth chart they fall.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

There really shouldn’t be much drama with our #2 pick. It should be Travis Hunter.

If the Browns want to trade up, I agree this could be a spot to watch for along with the Vikings' 24th selection. Especially if the Browns think the Steelers like a QB they also want.

I agree, too. Just a little worried Payton may have his eyes on somebody there at 20, and think he has a bit more pull than the GM. So hard to gauge what the Steelers are actually doing and if you need to get in front of them or not.

That tells you we should stay at 2 and draft Hunter. Also, I just saw a mock draft from a fellow dawgtalker that didn’t have a RB taken. Big mistake. We need to draft a RB no later than our first 3rd round pick. I don’t think we have to trade up from 33 but that’s JMO. If we stay at 33 a RB would be a good option or a QB. To me after Cam Ward the rest of the QB’s are neck and neck as far as talent and potential. Again JMO

7. Pick #9 will be Jaxon Dart (+550). The line has since moved to +1000. Mykel Williams is the favorite pick here. Not good line movement re: Dart....I might have got caught up in the hype of the 'Dart Moving Up" news. Back at +500

Martinez from Miami and Brashard Smith from SMU would be a good duo to me that look like they'll be available a bit later. If there's a run, maybe move up into the back end of the 3rd. Wouldn't be upset if the right guy is there earlier, but I'd probably lean trenches at the top of the 3rd because I think after that it will be a wasteland.

I think you can look at who they brought in for visits and project who and when - Scatt and Judkins (both 3rd rounders most likely).

Maybe this is just me, but with the amount of Newsome-trade talk that has gone on over the last few seasons, it's kinda surprising to me that we hear zero Denzel Ward trade talk.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I love both of those guys I think the browns are slow and soft We need guys with attitude These 2 have it Neither are the fastest though but do play faster than their 40's would suggest Would love to take Judkins at #33 and Scattabo at #104 2 words - Mack and Byner

Dane Brugler, Todd McShay and Field Yates all have the Browns taking Hunter at #2 (no surprise there), but they all have the Browns either staying put or trading up a few spot and taking Shadeur Sanders.
Memphis may have been on to something when he tongue-in-cheek said Prime Time would be coaching the Browns in 2026!
Also, seeing a lot of the Giants trading back into the end of round 1 and taking Dart.

Actually I think TreVeyon Henderson is every much if not more of a physical rusher than Judkins and from what I've seen are rated very close on most draft boards.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Both are physical runners Henderson is faster and predicted by most to be the 3rd Rb drafted Very likely 1st round
Judkins runs with more violence and attitude

I would support him if the Browns draft him but I don't support the Browns drafting him.

Every Browns beat reporter is fist pumping right now that they won't have to stick around all day on Day 3 of the draft.

Our #2 pick to Jacksonville? I'd support that. We would then select.....

Wonder why they made this trade now without knowing who will be available.
