OK, this might not be totally draft related to you, but it is to me.

Today I got my first Hummingbird back. It's a week or two later than normal, so I was getting a bit concerned that maybe they found better ground.

The return was on draft day. I take that as a good sign. My little bird friends are here to bring good luck.

In classic Batman fashion, "BOOM", "BAM", "POW", we are going to ace this draft.

Don't thank me, thank the Hummingbirds.

When I say bird friends, I mean that. Hummingbirds tend to return to the same places. They can live 3-4 years or more, so you begin to know them and they know you. Many times they will just hover a foot in front of your face for 10-15 seconds as a way to say hello. Several times I can stick out my pinky and they will perch on it for a few seconds as I talk to them.

It will be a good night tonight folks.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

It may sound silly to some.... including me. But if it works it works. I hope you're right that Berry aces this draft and I don't really care what caused it or made it happen.

Hopefully your buddies make a difference.

It sounds a bit silly to me as well, but in an adult life that is all too serious, sometimes we need to think like kids. When you were 6 you wouldn't have thought it silly. Well, maybe silly, but also possible.

I think kids are born with the right state of mind and thoughts, but age starts to chip that away.

I don't see anything wrong with thinking that way. A lot of people have their superstitions. I do agree that life can chip away at being nonsensical.

I am cool with it. Let's go Lucky Birds. That kind of sounds like a slot machine title, doesn't it?

Works for me! Go Browns!

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
