Didn’t realize you were MAGA…

Some think Trump is trying to be Orban. I don’t. I think he wants to be America’s Putin and is in Putin’s pocket. He’s using the Project 2025 platform to disorient our political atmosphere and keep us distracted… but the end goal is to be leader for life with only him calling the shots.

I'm not trying to dispel what you're saying. But Russia has been Russia for a very long time now. Putin is merely the latest installment. As it stands all dictators pretty much work the same way so in reality to could use "insert name here". The reason I used Orban is because he actually changed a democracy into what it is now and it was so very recent. It's a very recent road map that almost mirrors what we are seeing now.

I disagree. The USSR was communist/military regimes. Stalin lived like a true communist at first. Simple home, simple belongings. Putin introduced the oligarchical dictatorship after Russia’s brief moment of capitalism. It’s run like a for profit mob. Think about it.

I have thought about it. We simply arrived at different conclusions.

Firstly, the article is from ABC News and it explains why in the comments. It is easier for me to copy and paste from Twitter.

Just because you apparently didn't read the article doesn't mean others didn't. You and your posts are why people don't post on here,or even the other forums. I personally make it a point to try and not assume what others think. If I'm not sure about something I will point blank ask them. If you want dialog with others maybe you should try it.

I'm assuming that she did what she was accused of (intentionally helped an illegal alien evade FBI), and that what she's accused of is, in fact, illegal (and a judge does NOT have some special authority to make this legal).

As long as those assumptions remain true, I would hope she's punished accordingly. Nobody should be above the law... and she should know that better than anyone.

I and others can see exactly what your tweet said. And I do understand that trumpians hate seeing or reading anything that shows who and what trump is. I understand that they hate anything counter to what they want to believe. That's why everything they don't want to hear they call "fake news" or "the mainstream media". Putting some one size fits all negative label on it helps them avoid addressing the content.

I pointed out something that was NOT included in that Tweet. And in typical trumpian fashion you come after me for it. Your kind is not uncommon. Blaming me because people don't want to hear the truth is both weak and telling. I post more articles about what's gong on in America today than any other poster on this board. Once again she has been "accused of breaking the law. Assumption can't "remain true" because assumptions aren't truth. They're simply accusations. That tricky due process thing again. That's why her suspension is temporary dependent on the outcome of her case. If she is found guilty she should no longer be a judge.

Pit@dawgtalkers doesn't even read the articles he posts, so we shouldn't assume he'll read what anyone else submits.

He was referring to an article by ABC that was in the comments of the Twitter post and not the article I posted from CBS. If you're trying to make someone other than yourself look like a fool, you're going to have to pay more attention.

One problem with your little rant. I'm not a Trumpian and you know that. You are just a little man who is so unhappy with your life that you have to post online hate about others to make yourself feel better about your own miserable existence. I usually ignore your crap because quite frankly I dislike you. You are generally not worth the air in the room to even respond to.

It tells me that it's proof of where our society is as a whole. When the far left and the trumpian mentality both don't like you, it says that the middle no longer exists. I'm actually quite comfortable there.

It's odd that nothing about my post at all indicates any hate towards you yet that's what you label it. It wasn't a rant yet that's what you label it.

My existence is fine. Happily married, living a comfortable life, spending a lot of time with my child, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. I'm quite happy with my life. Once again that's just made up in your own mind. Often times I've found that people project the issues in their life upon others. If that's what is going on with you I hope things get better for you.

And I understand that some people are shallow enough to "dislike" people based only on their political views and debates online. That they want to determine who someone is based on little to no information other than. That's yet one more reason why our nation is so divided today.

Despite my disagreements with posters on this board I don't genuinely dislike any of them. Because you see, everyone knows how divided politics is. If you think that the sarcasm and attack aspect of it only resides with me you obviously haven't been paying attention. It seems you pick and choose who you dislike based on politics or somehow have convinced yourself that this forum is a direct reflection of who they are. But you do you.

Let me explain just how wrong you are about that. I have met Peen more than once. We disagree and go around about politics on this very board all of the time. But I don't dislike Peen. In fact I like him a lot! He is a very generous and kind man. He is a delight to converse with and to hang out with. GM and I argue about abortion on here all of the time. But I've known GM for decades now. He is a wonderful person and one could never find a better person.

So maybe you shouldn't be so shallow as to judge people based on a political forum on a message board. That's a rather shallow way to go about things. But then again...........

I’m assuming this was for Pit and not me. My question for MAGA had nothing to do with your post. The arrest of this judge had nothing to do with my post.

My opinion on this judges arrest is that it is pure BS. She has every right in her courtroom to observe STATE RIGHTS AND LAWS FIRST. And even though she was temporarily removed, the high courts will end up tossing this case out. Trump likes to make a spectacle out of everything to keep the red meat flowing to his base. This is simply another example of that. The judge might end up with some kind of slap on the wrist, but I doubt even that much happens.

Trump’s use of Alien Enemies Act for swift deportations is illegal, Trump-appointed judge rules

President Donald Trump’s invocation of a wartime power to summarily deport Venezuelan nationals to El Salvador was “unlawful,” a federal judge ruled Thursday, blocking the administration from further deportations under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

The decision from U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr., a Trump appointee, is the latest sharp rebuke to one of Trump’s most aggressive and high-profile efforts to quickly carry out deportations with little or no due process.

Rodriguez said Trump had improperly invoked the law — which gives the president the power to quickly expel nationals of invading countries — to target alleged members of a Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.

The Alien Enemies Act applies only when the country is facing an armed, organized attack, Rodriguez ruled. Trump’s claims about Tren de Aragua’s activities in the United States fall short of that bar, the judge added.

The act had been invoked just three times in U.S. history before Trump issued a proclamation last month deploying it against Tren de Aragua.

“The Proclamation exceeds the scope of the statute and, as a result, is unlawful,” Rodriguez concluded. “[Administration officials] do not possess the lawful authority under the AEA, and based on the Proclamation, to detain Venezuelan aliens, transfer them within the United States, or remove them from the country.”

In a prior life, ICE showing up at a public location, such as school, hospitals or courts was not permitted. That changed with this administration.

The issue is if someone suspects that ICE will be there, they will avoid the location, possibly risking themselves and others, or getting into deeper trouble by say, not showing up to a court appearance.

The merit and consideration can be debated, but ICE trolling for immigrants at courts probably just plain made the judge madder than hell. Again new rules created by Trump.

So that is our world. So is our world where ICE or HSI wear masks while “arresting” people. If there is one thing that is truly wrong cops wearing masks is the ICEing on the cake.

Is this why you think it's okay to lock up a person in a foreign prison without being charged with a crime or having due process? The topic that is being discussed is about due process. Not whether he is a boy scout.

You all keep describing a guy that the immigration courts should have no problem deporting. I don't understand why you're so gung-ho eroding a core piece of our justice system for a case that's as open-and-shut as this one.
