How I understand it--it's essentially a stadium-like experience where people can come together to watch games/events. I'm guessing this could be a big draw for away games of all the Cleveland sports but guessing more interest in football and basketball than baseball. They've partnered with various TV networks for streaming rights.

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

How does that work? He would have to buy the rights to show these games publicly from the NFL just like the TV and streaming services do. And if you can't see the game live, right down the road or at a local bar with your friends, why would you bother to go there to see one? You would still have to pay high prices for parking like you were actually going to a game.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
Games are shown live. Tickets are cheap. Looking at the Dallas COSM, reserved dome seating is only $22/ticket, reserved seating in The Hall is only $11/ticket. Downtown Cleveland parking is relatively cheap. Anyone living in Downtown or Ohio City could walk or there is an RTA station at Tower City.
This is like a smaller version of The Sphere in Vegas. Looks like watching sports on IMAX.
I'll be looking forward to checking it out for an Ohio State game.
Does the sphere show the Raiders games live? Any other major venue show their local NFL games live? I'm not saying it's impossible but it's certainly something I've never heard of before and I understand why. I'm only speaking for myself here but why would I pay them $22 and pay for parking when I can go to my local pub and all I have to pay for is food and beer? I mean the just the $22 ticket price and parking would be close to $50 bucks to basically watch something I could watch for free in my own living room or local bar. It's just a concept I don't see working.

COSM Dallas and COSM Los Angeles already exist. They are now building one in Cleveland, Atlanta and Detroit. Yes, the sports are shown live. You can see the sports events, time and tickets to the event on their website.
Anyone going here is definitely not weighing the option of plopping down at the local watering hole to watch the game to save a few bucks or going to COSM. That's a different crowd and two different demographics.
This won't be for everyone, and that's ok. I think it will be a pretty cool experience to check out.
Yes, they have the rights to broadcast NFL games. Also, looks like they use dynamic ticket pricing (which is now the norm) so the $22/ticket just happened to be the price for a World Cup event in Dallas.
Partnerships The NFL and Cosm Partner to Deliver Select Live NFL Games in Shared Reality
October 29, 2024 New partnership allows fans to experience live NFL action in a completely new way – through Shared Reality at Cosm’s venues in Los Angeles and Dallas
The NFL and Cosm, a leading immersive technology, media, and entertainment company, announced a partnership that will see Cosm produce and distribute select NFL games at their venues throughout the 2024 regular season. Cosm delivers fans a new way to experience live NFL games through Shared Reality – an experience that bridges the virtual and physical worlds by merging state-of-the-art visuals with the energy of the crowd and an elevated food and beverage service.
Currently operating in Los Angeles (Hollywood Park) and Dallas (Grandscape), Cosm’s experiential venues feature large-scale 87-foot-diameter 12K+ LED domes, enabling fans to watch live NFL action in a completely new and different way. Going forward, Cosm’s venues will feature Thursday Night Football (Prime Video), Sunday Night Football (NBC), and Monday Night Football games, as well as select games on FOX, for the remainder of the 2024 NFL regular season.
So while you are correct that they do show live NFL games, they are pre-agreed upon, selected games and not all games. Nothing indicates they are licensed to show "live home games" at Cosm.

Wait... so would that be going where the current stadium is, or next to the new stadium? I'm confused.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
