Aurora Ohio here........
The wingspan had to be roughly 5-ish feet across.
Gliding and no doubt looking for some Bald Eagle vittles.

If you want to see eagles until your neck gets sore, (as well as a bunch of migrating birds) take a day trip driving along route 2 between Howard Marsh and Magee Marsh and other points in between. There are many active nests in the area with hungry chicks. The parents are constantly flying around looking for food.

I saw one flying over my neighborhood north of Cincy. Wings on that thing were huge. Didn't even know we had them in the area until I looked it up. Probably a pet of oober's.

I grew up in Mentor Ohio very-very close to Lake Erie. Saw numerous Bald Eagles back then.
The "Roundup Fiasco" almost wiped out the Bald Eagle population there and elsewhere.

I'm willing to bet that I've seen the same one. I saw one flying LOW over my neighborhood (across the street neighbors back up to a large open area where all manner of stuff likes to hunt).
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

A Bald Eagles wingspan ranges from 6 to 8 feet.
They weigh 7 to 14 lbs with the female of the species about 1/3 larger than a male Eagle.
They are breath-taking...!

A month or two ago I was out in the back yard with my wife skimming the pool and touching up landscaping. Her friend happened to be walking by on the walking path out back and they started chit chatting.
I heard hawk screeching from a mating pair of hawks that live across the street from us in some woods. I looked up and I saw both red tails swooping at another pair of raptors that were large. Brown with white tails. At first I thought they were Turkey vultures and then it hit me. “Damn, those are eagles!” Must have alarmed the hawks because they were close to the nest. I was surprised that the smaller hawks were attacking the larger eagles, but that parenting instinct is strong, as I know.
I yelled over to my wife and her friend to look up. They both did and then were like “Ummm…okaaay…” Haha. I was awestruck the whole time until the eagles eventually flew on their way.
I told my wife “I can’t believe you didn’t find that more fascinating!”
She responded with “You’re over 40 now. You seem to be entering that ‘Into birds phase.’”
I said “But these were raptors fighting other raptors!”
Her: “Raptors are just the gateway birds.” LMAO!

I actually have one that has a nest near my house in the middle of a city. I usually see it about ten times a year. A couple of months ago there was something VERY loud approaching my house. I walked out back and it was five blackhawk helicopters flying by with the bald eagle above them. A few week prior the helicopters also flew over but I was traveling, otherwise I've never seen them before.
I saw a bunch of eagles when I was up in Montana recently. One was easily the largest one I've ever seen.
